"Can't have anything to do with religion" is a bit misleading. Howrse does a lot of things related to myths, which are PART of religions--sort of like characters from storybooks--but does not actually teach what they're about.

Hera's Pack, for example, deals with birth, but the goddess herself dealt with marriage, so it's kinda-sorta related (if you squint). Medusa's Blood, however, is a little closer to the actual myth, as it says Pegasus was created from her blood when she died. I like to think of them as cameo appearances for the sake of gameplay, and some of the myths even have some historical significance. In fact, from what I've read, the ancient Greeks didn't see them as stories but as actual events, every bit as real as me going to the store yesterday. Neat, isn't it?

Why not add evolution into the mix? There's a definite mix of mythology and history to it as well, so why not? It's not really any different from the other stuff.

Evolution has nothing to do with religion...it's a scientific theory. May go against your personal religious beliefs, but that's how games go. If you don't like it, don't play.

really hope that drafts are playable and now like the cows in the ec!!!! but then i dont know i mean if thy give your EC a boost then they could be playable but on the other hand they could be unplayable and like plow your fields or something default smiley :$ I really want them as a breed!!!! please be a breed lol ow please default smiley (lol)

So I am aware that Cloud will like be fully useless like Chitu, But I cannot wait to find out if he will have any perks. I spent 50 passes to get my Rain, So getting a little extra something back would be so nice. default smiley (lol)

Evolution= science

And yes, every scientific theory works on the unspoken (because self-evident) understanding that new findings can prove the theory to be wrong wholly or in parts. That is what makes science so much fun - you know that there is so much more to learn and you might be the one to find something that makes a difference. So that is not a point against science ... and of course, it has nothing at all to do with whether or not religious references are allowed here. default smiley :d

Well I don't know the exact definition of "draft breed" since it seems to vary according who you ask. I guess the closest I can get in my language to draft horse is "cold bloods", which both fjords and GVs absolutely are.. But most people I've talked with definitely see GVs as draft horses, there are several types of smaller drafts that I'm aware of such as the north swedish draft. I definitely categorize the Fjord as a draft breed, it's a heavy type of horse used for farmwork....

I'd love to have the magic ride back! Also evolutionary themed horses?! Aw yes! Even though I enjoy the mythical horses we get, it's nice to see some awesome science elements as well! Also the Hippidion is adorable but I MUST have the Tarpan! I'm wondering how far back in the evolution of the horse they'll go, I mean the Hippidion only went extinct like 10.000 years ago.

Hippodon(Female)+Tarpan(Male)=Forest Horse
Hippodon give 1xAphrodite's Tears when horse get 100points in one skill. It can stack when u have more horses.

Tarpan give a more chances to foal get same coat as a mother. (only normal coats not from BM items) Only for clean blood. Its not work when mare have foal before u get Tarpan.

and this Lost Apple- its says Pomme d'Or Disparue in French. VIP can buy a "Copy" of lost golden apple.

Im not surre they gonna made this on normal howrse, now exist only in Prepoid

What I interpret is that the Tarpan will semi-allow breeding for color (that is - purebred Cremello mother, higher chance of Cremello foal for example). As for that "Lost Apple" - I highly doubt it will be added (it would not be the first customization item that was mentioned and never made it to the game) as it would cause a massive upset in the number of "lost apples" (or retired golden apple coats as I interpret it) which would make a lot of players unhappy (as suddenly that GA with only 10 copies left now has 100 and is not worth as much)

Hipparion:

Hipparion is part of the prehistorical horses.

He receives one skill point every day, limited to the maximum of half the skills the best horse has on that day.

Every time he has collected 200 skill points, he offers you a foal of a race and color, which you don't owe yet. If you already owe every color of every race you don't receive a foal.

This horse cannot be sold.




Hyracotherium:

Hyracotherium is part of the prehistorical horses.

He receives one skill point every day, limited to the maximum of half the skills the best horse has on that day.

Thanks to Hyracotherium, every donkey mare you cover, will give birth to foals with additional 50% skills. This advantage cannot be accumulated with several Hyracotherium in your possesion, however it is compatible with Aphrodite's Tears.

This horse cannot be sold.



Hippidion:

Hippidion is part of the prehistorical horses.

Hippidion is a mare and can mate once with Tarpan and give birth to a foal "Horse of the Woods/Forests".

She receives one skill point every day, limited to the maximum of half the skills the best horse has on that day.

Every time she has collected 200 skill points, she offers you 1x Aphrodite's Tears.

This mare cannot be sold.



Tarpan:

Tarpan is part of the prehistorical horses.

He receives one skill point every day, limited to the maximum of half the skills the best horse has on that day.

Thanks to Tarpan, all the purebred foals to whom you give birth to, will have a bigger chance to receive the same coat like one of their parents, compared with the usual chance of getting a coat which is registered for that particular race.

This advantage cannot be accumulated with several Tarpan.

He can mate with Hippidion, if she has never been covered.

This horse cannot be sold.

these are prehistorical horses there was a translation mixup. but whether or not u go by evolution or religion these horses actually EXISTED. so theres no point in arguing about it

I don't feel they have the greatest benefits - but it's nice to see a bit of uniquness here.
Hipparion: So basically, it's a horse that gives you a (I assume a foundation) horse of a breed/color you don't have yet. For those who already have all the coats - this is a pointless horse.
Hyracotherium: Great for Donkey breeders, if they care about the overall skills - not so great for everyone else.
Hippidion; Great for those who breed for skills - also, you get an additional Divine/horse if you breed her
Tarpan; Short of pleasing those who want to 'breed for color' in a way - I feel this is probably the most pointless benefit as other than maybe adding a little value to the horse if it has a 'rare color' for its breed...there is no point to a horse's color
Again - this is just my thoughts on them.

I haven't actually looked at all the water divines but it seems like from the ones I did see they all have their skills jump around daily. And the Chinese divines all get skill points daily unless they trigger a bonus.

Though the pattern isn't exactly a long one to follow, I'd imagine Cloud would be similar to Chitu and just offer the basic feature of the divine group he's in. AKA his skills would just jump around like the rest of them. And Chitu didn't come with any additional perk, so I imagine Cloud wouldn't either. Either way, try not to get your hopes up lol.
