I kind of feel like the draft horses would be actually playable horses because the black pearl tells you not to draw them. I figure they just have something against draft horses or, they intended to have them in the game later so why have a bunch of draft horses drawn into different categories?

several kinds of drafts, my personal favorites, french percharons, that compete with regular saddle horses and most popular with jousting, and the french ponch. But no one knows yet how these new additions will play out in the game, there has always been clysdales in the creations from the time I have started playing, so you really cant go by that.

@ Briar. We aren't sure yet all we know is that they will be coming. Its possible that they won't be playable, but I agree with Zombie that it is likely that they will be.

I thought they simply said "work horses" not "draft horses"...again we need to be careful of what we hear and what people turn it into ... or unless I missed something :s

And that looks like wilds to me but they may just be wild looking divines XD

Hippidion is an ancient ancestor of the horse. So, this could be a divine but, we can't be sure. The Tarpan is an extinct species of horse.

I also think they fit better in the Wilds category then Divine; especially with their background.

Makes more since for them to be divines since they are both extinct species of horses. But that's just my opinion.

they look like wilds to me, but didn't howrse say they were ending the wilds when they were all sold in the reserved sales? I might just be misremembering though.

And it also would seem strange to have a big holiday promotion with no divines, just wilds... It's exciting though! Thank you Soporific for the update!

Not sure if this needed a spoiler, but wasn't there a promo where there were not divines and just wilds?

They might be something completely new, including a own Trophy - what I meant was that them being actual horses that existed at one point and having been 'wild horses' in a broader sense I would count them as wilds rather then divine.

Zombie; But that "rule" is ancient and not enforced. There used to be no draft breeds in the game, however we do have gypsy vanners and fjords now, and it would be stupid if you weren't allowed to send GV or fjord coats in, no? Before they didn't want any draft coats because there weren't any in the game, it wouldn't fit. but now there are, and I haven't gotten my draft coats rejected...

Ooh those new divines/wilds look awesome! And I was hoping they'd bring the magic ride back!
It would make so much more sense to me if Tarpan and Hippidion were wild horses seing as the tarpan is also know as the Eurasian wild horse and Hippidions were thought to be closely related to wild horses. However they may still be divines.
As for the packs, they're OK I'd prefer to have the Olympus and Asgard packs offered again since they gave APs and a choice of divine as well. However the new packs still seem pretty cool, I wonder how much they'll be.

Please let this be a new set of Extinct Divines...I demand Quaggas! (okay, so they are more a relative of the Zebra but they're still my all time favorite extinct equine). Though if it is being called Horse Evolution - it's probably going to be a set that shows the evolution of the Horse over time (starting from the smallest members of Equine ancestry (like Hippidion) leading up the current genus of Equus)

Ugh?? I thought we can't have any thing to do with religion? Evolution? Really? So we all just came from monkeys and the earth just evolved one day a couple billion years ago. Even though the theory of evolution keeps changing. But I'm a bitter unhappy person who should just "go with the flow". Everytime Howrse introduces something new, there's always someone that gets offended. The funny thing is, this time, we only got the pictures, and no proof yet. So no need to be offended so much so sudden..and evolution is proven to exist through genes and natural selection.
