In regards to this - a fellow mod had asked about it (and some other upcoming features) - and while they wouldn't spill the beans on the other question (which was what Sand and Iron would be used for) they did answer about upgrading boxes:

Actually, just so that you know they will not be coming back.

They further went onto say that the upgrade feature was removed in preparation for upcoming new features for the coming months (but did not say anything more)

yes I can asure you that the draft horses will be be joining howrse. on the german server they are announced for Jan 2015 shouldn't take much langer here

Yes, you can activate and deactivate her auto-bedding perk. I own her and it's a rather handy addition. Although I'm not sure why I'm marking this as a spoiler...default smiley 8-)

My former comment that was deleted that I was complaining about was the mistaken identities of the Water Divines that were in the Asgard pack. Several thought that Rain was in it when it clearly wasn't. There have been some that mistook Snow for Rain and Cascade for Rain. But my correction in that was deleted without a just reason in my opinion.

It is more often than not safe to assume that whatever server is ahead with a Divine, that's what we'll get. As that has been the pattern.

I was surprised when I covered my Rain for only 500e in the public coverings. Guess I lucked out. default smiley xd

the next Big Challenge has begun!
It is the last for this time! And there's more Chinese horses!
We begin first on Big Challenges again in January.
We (the Danish Howrse) is far ahead of any other
We are clearly the fastest and the best!
The other versions will therefore have a chance to keep up.
We only collect 120,000 horseshoe, and then start the festivities again!
For this Big Challenge and subsequent celebrations is the grand prize Rain! A divine water jump!
Rain has skills that changes every day! She can have a divine foal with Geyser. And she can help on your equestrian center! Exciting!

It seems it is just for them, as we are behind and need to catch up. And they said they would start again in January, so this is not the end for them or anyone else.

Yes, I didn't mean the actual 'end'. I just meant for now...Since we are all on Rain currently...

but still, January seems a long time to wait. Aren't they only a week or so ahead?

and the 'Ow' on that version said that there *would* be a small calendar for certain during the wintertime, along with many other surprises. I strongly believe that the calendar will also take place here because what usually happens on int'l occurs on the Spanish server shortly afterward.

I think this means one and/or two things
1. They want to get the severs a bit more on-sync, so they are stopping the big challenge on the furthest ahead servers for a while until the furthest behind (Isn't there a few still on Longma? Isn't there one stuck back on Huanglong? Someone fill me in here.) catch up on things and things get re-synced. But since Danish is only on Rain, and so are we, wouldn't that mean they are only a day ahead?

and/or

2. They are doing a big Christmas promo and are giving us a great challenge break for that.

What do you think?

I'm gonna hope option two is correct! I haven't been on here for this time of the year in forever to remember what they have done previously.
