So this new Maori Divine gives you a Weta when his tiki is full? What on Earth is that?

Will the Gemstone horses all be making an appearance back in some sort of promo or did we just kind of get lucky with a random Sapphire promo?
He's one of my least favorites, but if there's no guarantee that any of the other Gemstone horses will be coming back anytime soon, then I'm wondering if it's better to try while I have any options at all? Has Topaz already been back?

Has Topaz already been back? As someone who has kept track of divines released over a few years, I can safely tell you that all gemstone divines will be back - it may just take some time, as we've got other series going right now (Keltic, Maori and Myths (only Sleipnir left) for fleece/titan, Prehistorics and Legendary tack for HOPs). Saffier is the first re-release for now. Another thing, Topaz won't be released as Topaz needs to be bred out of the mare Emerald, so keep your eyes open for her! |
Click to display Honestly not looking forward to the upcoming promo-The Forgotten Country. Spent 7,990 passes just to complete Freya's territory because buying tile packs is entirely luck based which I don't like especially since promos have been super pass heavy lately....On top of that the set up is a bit confusing.

I thought it was usually every weekend there was something but i see today theres nothing. just wondering if i should hold off opening my objective hop until tomorrow, or just use it today. I'd say use the HOP now. HOP deals usually come on the Friday/Saturday so if it doesn't pop up with the rest, there's nothing for that weekend. They're on and off between the luck items, sometimes is TC and HOP, others it's GF and HOP, sometimes it's only the GF and TC. Never know for sure.

Spent 7,990 passes just to complete Freya's territory because buying tile packs is entirely luck based which I don't like especially since promos have been super pass heavy lately....On top of that the set up is a bit confusing. Long reply: (With maths, shorter version below) Click to display There are some possibilities for good prizes though if you use the trading well... Yep, does look very pass heavy. You need (if I remember correctly) 7 4* rarity tiles to get Freya and 1 to get the Nyx pack on the board. The last 1000 tiles I bought (that's 200 packs!) I got 25 4* tiles! That works out as 1 per 40 tiles, or 1 per 8 packs. I reckon you could get 2 4* tiles among the dailies if they work out at the same rate. So that means you'd still need 5 x 8 packs at 90 passes to get her, which would mean 3600 passes. And that's if you don't use any 4* tiles anywhere else... On the other hand I think it could be a good opportunity if you want to go for other prizes, including the Greyfell. Two tiles give a crystal chest, one 3* and one 4*, but ANY 3* tile can be traded for the crystal-giving one, and the same goes for 4*. In the last 500 tiles I bought, 64 were 3*, which gives a rate of about 1 in 8. So in 40 tiles you'd expect to get 6 3* and 4* tiles. That means about 12 free over the course of the event. With 20 items in the Crystal chests, that leaves 8 to get. You should get that many in 13 packs at a cost of 90 passes each = 1170 passes to pretty much guarantee a Greyfell (and everything else in the Crystal chest) That is of course if you manage to trade every 3 and 4 star tile for one that gives a crystal chest... Short answer: Click to display I reckon you could get Freya for 3600 passes, as long as you don't use ANY 4* rarity tiles anywhere but the 7 places on her territory that require them (spaces with 3 sides water/sea on the inside curves of her territory) Which is still very expensive... On the other hand, I reckon you can get all the contents of the Crystal chests, including the Greyfell, for about 1170 passes. To do that though you must trade all 4 and 3 star rarity tiles you get for ones that give crystal chests.

Question on the upcoming promo...
Click to display Is there any limit on the number of tiles you can trade/place daily? Ie. Would a good strategy be to wait until the end to see which tiles you have and what prizes you can get, or is there a feature that would prevent this?

Click to display No there's no limit on the amount of tiles you can place or trade.
|
Click to display When you've placed all the tiles you can start again and keep all the prizes you've already won.
|
Click to display I'd say it would be a good idea to put off starting for a few days and gather more tiles. If you can manage it! Trading is free. You can also destroy tiles at 10,000 equus each (which doesn't go up) if you need to replace them. If you won a chest prize on a tile and then destroy it you keep the prize. Also once you've got all the prizes on the board you can restart: you don't have to place every single tile

look literally FOUR posts above yours. they arent tested, as they arent gameplay features or events No need for passive aggression. With a seniority of 209 days please don’t self-Embelish a wise old owl status upon yourself. Incredibly patronising and I sure do hope you have never made a mistake in your life. “literally FOUR” how embarrassing
|
@paul1, actually the shown seniority means next to nothing since a player can have a main account on another server 1000+ days old or they might've decided, maybe even several times, they wanted a clean slate. Personally I belong to both categories. As for the passive aggression, one might develop one if they don't have a saint's patience and they have to keep seeing and keep repeating the same thing over and over and over again. Sure it's no excuse but it might get you wonder about its root cause
On topic now, any news about anything... new?

So this new Maori Divine gives you a Weta when his tiki is full? What on Earth is that? A weta is a wonky lookin cricket from New Zealand.

Could you please repost the list of pass bearing divine horses on the site?

Looking for some explanation of upcoming promo
Click to display as I am hopelessly lost I have two tiles. They definitely fit in spaces that are lined white (so I can click them) but when I do, it says I don't have any tiles that fit. Again, I definitely do....... what's wrong? |

They definitely fit in spaces that are lined white (so I can click them) but when I do, it says I don't have any tiles that fit. Again, I definitely do....... what's wrong? Click to display Looks like the session for the Forgotten Country is over, so I can't look to fully jog my memory of how it works or to grab screenshots, but I think the white lined boxes are there whether or not you currently have one eligible for that particular slot. It's just there to sort of outline the "trail" for for you.
To place the tile, it needs to match the surrounding areas. So the desert area has to be placed next to the desert area, water connected to water, etc.
Or, it's possible that you could trade one of your tiles for one that you do need.

Bumping this up for anyone who needs it
Next Event Click to display (which will actually be after the Insect World, so technically not the "next" one) is a brand new event called "Forgotten Country" which introduces Freya of the Nordics. When she reaches 510 points by traveling on the different worlds she offers a Pandora's Box This event is brand new, and we had a few hitches during the tutorial, so it may take us (or at least me) a few days to get a grasp of any strategies or pass estimates or anything. Here are some more images, with some explanations by me, which hopefully aren't too confusing It seems like it's a matching/puzzle type game, as you connect tiles with the matching "environment" (sand to sand, forest to forest) Here's the main page. And here is the map page The white outlined box my photoshopped yellow arrow points to indicates where I can place a tile. The faded out tiles over to the right indicate a "territory" with a prize, and you can see which prize it holds when you hover over it. The brighter, in color tiles are ones I've placed. Clicking the "territory" gives you this little pop-up telling you where to place the tiles in order to unlock the territory and claim the prize, although it seems we just have to place tiles around all of the exposed sides of the territory, which is fairly straightforward. Thanks! I am lousy with numbers and this reminder of what each divine gives and doesn't. Thank you again.
