Yes, 4x dust is the maximum amount you can receive. You get the 4x dust multiplier when you receive 156/156 horseshoes from the Great Challenge (aka you finish all the objective) - so everyone who has done all the objectives so far (whether you did them yourself, skipped with BMIs, or asked friends for help) and also does the 3 objectives tomorrow will get that multiplier.

Do we have some more info about how comp change mentioned in PMs today is going to work? PM said:
"What this means is that all races that have a difficulty rating of less than 34% will be set to accept horses who only have less than 20 victories. " What about low skilled horses with more than 20 victories? Ones that see *only* races with difficulty rating less than 34%, but now won't be able to enter them because of their wins? |
I was thinking the same. 34% currently equates to about 1600 skills at it's lower threshhold. I have plenty of horses whose top skill is nowhere near that, nevermind the others. Depending on breed you can't always get gains in the top three skills with one type of comp so how are you supposed to finish blupping if you get the wins from the first comp type you do and then your horse can't see any races for the other type?
I also wonder whether it would be possible to train a top skiller horse to the point where its skills are too high to see the under 34% comps before it has its wins.

Re comps:
Click to display On preprod there were 3 categories: low level, under 20 wins and over 20 wins. So I'm not sure if they've changed it to 2 categories or the pm is badly worded!
|
More on comps:
Click to display Just looked on preprod, and there are still the 3 categories for ordinary horses there: low level, under 20 and over 20. I think what the pm is saying is that when the change happens your comps will be automatically set to under or over 20. If you want them to be low level you'll have to set that yourself?
|
Thanks Rowan Green. That makes a bit more sense but it seems it's still going to mean a change in the way I train many of my horses.

RowanGreen, the problem is that some horses won't be able to see comps *at all* according to the PM. No matter what level we set our own comps.
I have a horse with low skills, but she has over 20 wins. So she can't see any rookie comps, but I can still register her into regular comps with low difficulty level. After change, I still won't be able to register her into rookie comps. Regular comps: - that are less than 34%? I won't register her in those, because she has over 20 wins and these comps will be only for horses with less than 20 victories - that are more than 34%? I won't be able to register her in those either, she has too low skills to see them. If you're on preprod, can you check if you see any comps with low GP/skills horse that already has 20 wins? |

I've read what you wrote again and I'm not sure if I understand it right: if I have a comp in my EC with level 0% difficulty, I can choose to:
- set it for "low level" and then every horse can see it - set it for "under 20 wins" and then only horses with less than 20 wins can see it? |
From what I can tell on pre-prod, "low-level" comps will be the same as current rookie comps, so restricted to less than 20 wins, no skills over X and no skill GP over Y, and they give ECs that host them 500e each time they run. Divine comps are largely unchanged but can no longer be both rookie and divine.
When I try to enter one of my horses with more than 20 wins but low skills (highest skill is 105) into competitions, all I can see are Ow's Grand Prix comps despite having my own gallop comp, set to 7% difficulty for horses with more than 20 wins, that is currently showing as open. So it looks like there will be comps for those horses but they will all be game generated comps?
|
Although, I should point out that this is the first day of testing so it is possibly a bug rather than how it is intended to work.

Do we have some more info about how comp change mentioned in PMs today is going to work? I am also worried about how this might affect competition prestige. Does anyone know this?

could somebody explain how the heart battle will work? thanks in advance (:

could somebody explain how the heart battle will work? thanks in advance (: Basically, the day will be divided up into 3 8-hour chunks. When those chunks of time begin and end will depend on your time zone. Each chunk, you can catch 4 Heart UFOs. When you catch one, you can either a) keep the gift and lose point in the battle or b) send it away and earn points in the battle. The higher value the gift, the more points you gain/lose. You can also use bonuses to earn more points when you send away an item. The players with the most points at the end of the battle win prizes, like the new divines and BM items.

Next Event
Click to display (which will actually be after the Insect World, so technically not the "next" one) is a brand new event called "Forgotten Country" which introduces Freya of the Nordics. When she reaches 510 points by traveling on the different worlds she offers a Pandora's Box This event is brand new, and we had a few hitches during the tutorial, so it may take us (or at least me) a few days to get a grasp of any strategies or pass estimates or anything. Here are some more images, with some explanations by me, which hopefully aren't too confusing It seems like it's a matching/puzzle type game, as you connect tiles with the matching "environment" (sand to sand, forest to forest) Here's the main page. And here is the map page The white outlined box my photoshopped yellow arrow points to indicates where I can place a tile. The faded out tiles over to the right indicate a "territory" with a prize, and you can see which prize it holds when you hover over it. The brighter, in color tiles are ones I've placed. Clicking the "territory" gives you this little pop-up telling you where to place the tiles in order to unlock the territory and claim the prize, although it seems we just have to place tiles around all of the exposed sides of the territory, which is fairly straightforward. What was all this I heard about the heart UFOs appearing reliably in a short period of time in each 8-hour segment? This is not reflecting my experience AT ALL. Kind of annoying.

I was on the classic version of my laptop for at least 30 minutes before I checked mobile. Didn't get any there, but got all 4 on mobile in less than two minutes.

I got mine quickly, my dad and sister did too. We all play on laptops.

I went around various pages as soon as the event started to find them all and I found them all within 10 minutes it would have been shorted but I missed two because I was clicking so quickly.

Click to display A Pandora's Box is such a disappointing perk for such a pretty divine. Even as someone with Greyfells, I don't find myself needing to stock up on PB's regularly, I just buy cheap ones for equus or exchanges as I see them. It would make more sense for her to give a Fertility Wand since that's what she's known for, or a Golden Apple since she's also associated with beauty. But I suppose they already have divines giving out Wands, and maybe giving out GAs would be too generous It will be interesting to have a new promo!
