Aengus will be available in GFs as soon as the festivities start after the GC (or if you have VIP you can try for him now, though I would recommend waiting until you have the divine multipliers from completing objectives - it will take a lot of GFs to reach 1,000 dust without the multipliers).
We normally have a luck item promo of some sort every weekend, so I would expect it to be the same this coming weekend. However, we do not get advanced warning on what divine will available or which item it will be in.

It was just a temporary offer and, from my understanding, was a bit of a trial run to see if the interest was there.

The Hearts Battle is a UFO event, like the snowballs. You catch Heart UFOs and then either keep them, gaining the prize you caught but losing points for the event ranking, or throw them, losing the item but gaining points. How many points you lose/gain is determined by the UFOs value, and at the end of the event you win prizes depending on your ranking, with the highest ranked players winning divines. You can see more detailed information here.

is it true that i heard that for the hearts battle it only took about 20 minutes to win all 4 ufos? havent seen much about that

That is how it worked on pre-prod. The day is split into 3 eight hours sessions and I found that most of the time it took me 10-20 minutes to find all the UFOs in each session. I did have a few occasions when I would only find one or two even after half an hour of moving from page to page, so it isn't guaranteed that you will find all the UFOs quickly, but overall it was a lot easier to manage than the usual having to log in every three hours or so for the duration of the event.

for the daily objectives, how am i supposed to get the color bonus if i don't have any matching sets?

then you dont. you need a matching set

If you don't have a matching set then you can't get the colour bonus. You could see if a friend is willing to gift you the colour you are missing, or see if there are any horses in the sales already wearing part of a set you could complete (e.g. if you have white ear bonnets and wraps, you could search for horses wearing a 2** saddle cloth and no ear bonnet/wraps then go through the horses that come up until you find one wearing a white saddle cloth).

Updates typically occur on the first Tuesdays of the month, so possibly March 5? The recent update was on the last Tuesday of January, so it may be before that.

That's a Halloween item, so it'd likely be then. It could be released in the BM for passes and/or as a prize in whatever Halloween promo is going on at that time.

We haven't been informed of the Zodiac re-releases up to this point, but since we've seen a pattern of the other Zodiacs getting placed in the reserved sales, we'll likely see the rest eventually too.

I thought, that someone mentioned, that you'll have to spend around 2000-2200 passes with the x6 multiplier to get Aengus through the dust. So with the x3 multiplier, it should be the double, around 4000-4400 passes.
