I just returned to Howrse a couple weeks ago, after a hiatus of maybe 5-6 years.

I'm working on Thoroughbred/Appaloosa crosses right now. I want to keep the Thoroughbreds as the dominant breed, but I'm adding a bit of Appaloosa ancestry to maximize the speed/dressage skills.

I trained a couple of solid mares, Kanami and Akari.

Once I finish BLUPPing their foals, Koji and Chiaki, I hope that they produce some strong competitors in gallop competitions.

Those foals look great! I love tb/appy crosses. I had a really nice appy mare, but I sold her after training/breeding… I’m definitely wishing I had kept her lol.

How are everyone’s projects going? I recently bred a nice mustang x criollo that does very well in barrels! He has been able to win 10 rosettes, so I’m pleased with him

I’m trying to figure out my next 4 way Irish hunter, but the criollo crosses are super fun!

I ended up spending a lot of my time (and aging points) on BLUPPing a Thoroughbred stallion for the apprentice breeder objectives. But so I haven't had time to really test out my Thoroughbred Appy crosses, Sakura and Chiaki. I consider my Thoroughbred mares, Kanami and Akari, to be my top horses in my stable. So I have high hopes for their Appaloosa cross daughters. If Chiaki and Sakura take after their dams, I might have a couple of solid gallop competitors on my hands.

Can anyone tell me what breeds go well with Appys? Preferably some of the breeds that I have. Thanks!

What breed is best to cross with Trakehners?

Actually just got a new TB+Appy cross so super happy other players have done well with them. I focus mainly on my teams, so don't have much time for crosses but I *did* just breed a new TB+Knabb cross, so curios to see how she does. I just mixed the two because they are my two team's breeds, and the two breeds are my passion on here. Anyone bred a TB+Knabb before?

I finished getting the 20 wins for Sakura, one of my TB/Appy crosses! All I have to do is to finish Bolding her skills and I'll be finished with her! Hopefully she and her foals do well in gallop competitions.

I got the 20 wins with Sakura! And she gave birth to a couple of new fillies, Kaede and Akane.
