Appy/Selle Paint/Selle TB/Selle Friesian/ Selle are the ones I'm working now. Maybe do an Arab/Selle so I can see how it pans out. Or maybe a Lippi or Lusi/Selle.
Acually, Framing Hanley, I have a Arab/Selly you can look at! I bred her for getting the All Species trophy. Here she is.

4 Winds - Thank you. She's a cutie ! Do you plan on blupping her? I would love to see how the cross does in comps.

Hanley, that KWPN finally hit 100 BLUP if you still wanna try her with your Appy/Selle. (Or was it Paint/Selle?)

Lansdowne officially started chomping yesterday. I only need one more win.

Rainy, can I have a link please? I need to compare GP since I can't for the life of me remember which stud I wanted to pair her with.

Rainy, I'm going to finish up Lansdowne tomorrow and then send a cover her way from him, okay?

Alright. Sounds good.

Ummmm... I am not sure, since I have like 7 priority horses still waiting to be BLUPed first. I could possibly would on her daily, but it will be quite some time before I get to really work on her.

*work, not would...

If you would like to train her yourself, I would be happy to trade her with you for another Selle. Like I said, I bred her just for the All Breeds Trophy, so I just need any old Selle, doesn't need to be a high GP one or anything. default smiley :)

Loving anglo-arabs default smiley (7)

Bittersweet is my first second-gen one. They're so easy to BLUP and the skill set is awesome. Would recommend.

Would anyone mind providing me with some stats on the breed order of some 50/50s?
I sent a ticket to Contact Us some months ago asking if breed order in equal crosses, like a 50/50, was random. They said it was random the order they were listed.
But I looked at quite a few of my own 50/50s and noticed a pattern of the higher GP parent listed second. Some horses broke that rule with the lower GP parent listed second, so maybe it was just luck, but I wondered if anyone else noticed a pattern as well. Or if they had full siblings that weren't twins who had a different breed order. That would definitely show randomness.

I'd like to know for a 4-way I'm planning. I need the sire's second listed breed to be specific, but since I'm going to try to get a cover from a team, I'm not sure if I'll be able to breed a dozen foals just to get one with the breed I need listed second.

Breeding for my SS gift I got a couple of extra foals if anyone could use them in your program.

F Teke x Barb
M Gypsy x Arab

I'm looking forward to this 4-way cross. I think it's going to be a lot of fun! And will top the Barb boards for more than a couple categories. default smiley (b)

Usually the second breed listed is the Dam's breed in a 50x50 even cross. At least that seems to be the case for me 75% of the time. If I get the Sire's breed listed second, I will get a different stud for another breeding and that usually "fixes" it.

You can see in the two foals I have listed in my last post, the Barb took the sire's breed listed second and the Arab took the dam's breed listed second. GP was lower for the barb but higher for the Gypsy. I think it's random, but skewed toward the dam's breed.

hmm...I hope it does skew more towards the dam being listed second as that would work for my project. My horses aren't holding to that leaning though as I have a farm with several having the sire's breed listed second.

I might just go for it though and cross my fingers that it will favor the dam.

I'll cross my fingers for you default smiley ;). If it doesn't work, just ask for another cover. Changing the stud has worked for me everytime I needed it to.
