I buy crossbreds in sales but I only buy if they are from 100% BLUP parents and had tears/hera pack used on them. I think it's an absolute waste to buy a foal that didn't have tears used on the breeding. It makes it harder to train (getting the wins) and sets you back in breeding the next generation for better ibs.

I think if you want to make money selling crossbreeds, you have to invest in using tears when you breed. It not only helps your next gen horses but you can legitimately ask for more money/passes.
I breed with tears every generation and the foals don't sell for enough to get money back let alone make profit default smiley (lol) but they sure do sell nicely once they are proven default smiley :-)) haha

pix looks even better than he did 2 years ago default smiley :p

I agree forest queen I almost never sell as a foal. Even though all my babies are bred with tears. I usually train and then sell. Currently my partner and I have an awesome Thoroughbred/Irish Hunter mix that we are now crossing with a pure Marwari for an awesome Marwari comp horse.

an Arab/Paint would be an Arabian good in speed events, a Paint/Arab would be a paint good in XC default smiley :)

Okami I have 2 crossbred foals with great potential for sale for 10,000e each default smiley (y) bred with tears so you get max skills possible

I havent tried BREEDING x-breeds yet, but i have plenty if I want to try! lol. I have 2 male Irish Hunter//Hano crosses. And a pure Hunter. I want good jumper/hunters. default smiley ;) I'm thinking of crossing the mare with a Canadian or TB.....Maybe a Shetland Hunter! What about a Quarab Painted Irinadian Hunter???? default smiley :kdefault smiley :-)) LOL. Somebody wanna help me out? default smiley ;) You can either send me the name of a good Phyciatrist who dosent get frightened easily.......scratch that. Who dosent get TERRIFIED easily.
