Cherokee Lynn- If you breed your new foal, and ImaPal together, you will not get a trot star.

Trot GPs - 89.05 (foal after proper games), 66.80 (stud) = the GP won't reach over 100.

Thats fine! Im selling them anyways and starting a new line!
By Retired breeder, 7th June 2010 19:42:03
I also am selling my double-all stars. I am going to focus on marwari dominants and newfie dominants for now. Maybe a QP or two as well.

Nice job, Sunny!

That's an excellent commanding price, especially for a crossbreed!

I am so happy about it because I didn't expect to get much for her... People have such a thing about crossbreds being worth less then purebreds.
Heh, we are changing that pretty quickly. My Marwari cross babies sold for passes and equus, as have a few of my new Hunter six-skillers. Even the Friesian babies are still garnering a pass or two here and there, especially the higher-GP ones.

I can't seem to sell my six skill friesian crosses bred with tears. I am going to put in a IH cross with 780 something GP in soon and I really hope he sells.

*Sighs loudly* I am just thinking how more players are accepting crosses as equals to purebreds and someone turns down one of my elite BLUPed and bolded cross mares because, and I quote, "I found another horse + she is purebred"
Huh....I'm starting to think I overprice my horses.

default smiley (lol)I think that a lot. At least you get offers if they are for sale. Mine never sell for what they are in for really.
beach, Sunny, it all depends on who's in the mood to buy at the moment. I have had days where I can't put the foals up for sale fast enough, and then days where people don't even bother to look at them.

Occasionally (like today), I take a few of the better ones that normally sell for passes and have to dump them into equus-only sales or even the dreaded auctions. I did that with a fully-BLUPped six-skilled Paint stud, and he sold within five minutes of me posting him. And for a fairly good price, too.

I think part of the problem is the drain on passes that just happened with the "oh my gosh level 10 is open I need to do it all now" rush. Folks tapped their reserves pretty hard to cash in on the Croesus deal, and are now less willing to spend passes on a horse that isn't either purebred or Elite.

Why? Non-purebred horses could be elite....

Anyway, does anybody think I ovepriced the low GP cross Knight, who could be the very first horse I almost blupped?

beach, it will be tough to get anyone to pay passes for a horse with a GP of less than 400, especially with the Hinter crosses coming out that are up into the 780s and beyond.

And yes, many non-pure horses are Elites - but the ones that aren't are difficult to sell in a "tight economy", which is what the Level 10 madness instigated.
