Awww, that's so special about the dog! I have a similar Schleich dog story...in 2018 my step-dad passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. We were preparing for his funeral when I got an old Schleich collie type dog that looked like it had lines from tears running from its eyes. If you were to go back far enough in this forum thread, I probably posted it here. But yeah, makes them more special and memorable. I'm glad you have that dog!

I got a few Schleich in today! I got some more of the Bayala Fruit Uni Foals in...Pineapple, Orange, and Peach. Two more and i'll have the whole set! And i got a surprise. You know how Schleich always sends me a little Schleich Smurf as a thank you? Well i got a thank you, but it wasn't a Smurf...i got a mini dino lol. So that's new. Still gotta go figure out which one it is, as i have none of those. I have a few of the regular size ones, but none of the minis! I also unexpectedly got a Breyer today!

Ok, so the Schleich mini dino i got turned out to be the Mini Spinosaurus, and i believe i saw somewhere call it the Original, when i was searching for it online? Not sure if that's significant or accurate, but that's what someone said. It makes sense though cause i saw a different colored one out there too. I have never gotten into the mini dinos, but i also read that the line was fairly new (like around 2015?) but also short lived, and they are all retired now? Always happy to gain a retired figure!

Ah, thanks for that clear up! I actually got in the mail today the last two Bayala fruit unis I needed, Cherry and Kiwi. Now I own the whole set, which I believe is retired at the end of this year. It's so satisfying to complete a set! I also got the Bayala Shooting Star foal. And, as my thank you gift, I go another of the same mini spinosaurus ha ha. Probably because the orders were so close. Guess I'll call them The Twins lol.
