I would love to have some more limited editions but sadly they dont sell them here i the Netherlands and we dont go that often to Deutschland but I hope that I can get some other nice models when I am shopping for my birthday

I'm so sad... i was gonna come straight home today and buy both the gazelle fawn and the dromedary camel...but someone just bought the camel. I found another one for a similar price but it was a little too "loved on" for my liking, which would be common considering that one was from like 1991 lol. The only other one i could find available was like $35 USD not including shipping and i can't spend that much on it. Anyway, I'm hoping another will come up. I did buy the last one of the three gazelle fawns that were available

What is the best deal you've ever gotten for a Schleich? I got a good deal today on another one...its the retired nanny boer goat. Got her for $6.64 and free shipping...from Hong Kong! That is a great deal for me...we have goats that are part Boer and most of them are all white, but we have one nanny that came out a couple years ago looking just like a Boer goat, with the brown head and feet, and her udder is mostly brown too. So i was happy to get a RETIRED nanny goat that looks like her for so cheap, and that amazing shipping deal! There are a matching male and baby boer goat you can get too to go with her, but that's a search for another day, like my swabian hall pig family peices were. I just finally completed that family set!

My best deal however, also came with free shipping from Hong Kong! In fact, i think they had to pay more to ship it to me then i paid for the item! It was a parakeet or budgie, not sure which, and it was also retired. There is a blue and green one, and i had gotten one for .50 cents, another amazing deal, from Orscheln's. They had found it in the back and just threw it on the shelf with the rest of the Schleich, and when i looked at my receipt later, they had rung it up at 50 cents! And it was retired! Anyway, i needed the other color. So when i found it for .99 cents on ebay with free shipping from Hong Kong, i jumped on it lol. So yeah those two retired budgies/parakeets at 50 cents and 99 cents, no shipping for either, are my best deal.

But i know that someone else has me beat, cause i'm sure some of you have been GIVEN Schleich lol. Care to share what model and what you got it for?

I really want these guys...they are a special for Schleich's 75th anniversary, which i THINK was around 2009, so a few years before i started collecting. They are now, of course, retired, but that doesn't stop me from dreaming! If they are still around next time tax returns come my way, i may snatch them up.

And I have got some Schleich from Family or friends but mostly its just that I chose what horse or anything I want but I got one from my bestie and I didnt choose I and it was for my birthday and it was the friesian mare and last time I got a cat from my mother

Yeah the giraffe does seem to have less detail on it doesn't it? Oh well i'm a sucker for the zebra stripes lol.

What's funny is that i mentioned that i'm sure somebody had given some of you guys some Schleich? Well guess what happened to me an hour or two ago? Yep. Somebody GAVE me two retired wolf cubs lol. I had one already, so now i have three but the more the merrier.

Yeah some of those bellies are hard to read, and the date can even be hard to find! They gotta make it fit somewhere!

And yeah, now i have a whole wolf family...a 2009 wolf and three 2009 cubs, a howling wolf, a growling wolf, and an Arctic Wolf and the new Arctic Wolf cub that came out this year.

I know right?! And i think the piglets are adorable. The mom and dad are pretty good size too...a bit bigger than the pink pigs.

Ok, here are my current wolf family...sorry for the stuff in the background. I have no decent place made up to take pictures lol. The two cubs without tags were the ones i was just given by a friend.
