Hi guys I started collecting Schleich horses recently and I love them. So far I have a friesian stallion, gypsy vanner/tinker mare and stallion, and the appaloosa mare and stallion. I also have a few animals that aren't horses

Awesome!! I love the Tinkers! They're so cute. I would like to have them someday, just haven't wanted to part with my money yet.

Yeah, I'd be happy if they were a bit cheaper, but at least they're built strong! My birthday is next week so I'm hoping to get the Friesian mare, Appaloosa foal, and maybe some Lippizzaners!

Heyy,
I used to collect Schleich when I was younger. I've got 100+ horses, many other animals and all that stuff but since I don't collect them anymore they're all down in the basement. =) |

I always collected these, and i still love them. I usually get them at a feed/hardware store. But there so expensive gosh danget! They are a LOT cheaper than Breyer though, and MUCH more durable. I've never had a Schleich break, where I've had more than 4 Breyer horses break. |

Woah! Breyer must be really expensive! I agree though, my Schleich have never gotten more than just a really small paint chip!

Breyer horses range from $20.00 to $50.00. For rarer Breyer horses, people can pay up to $100.00 or more. Once I payed $75.00 for one that's no longer made.
You can get Schleich horses for tons less than that haha! |

I love Schleich! They are so durable and realistic. And much cheaper then Breyer. But Breyers are great too. I think I have about twenty horses and a bunch of random wildlife, and I'm still collecting them. I don't think I'll grow out of them till next year.

Anyone have any good crafts going? I'm currently working on a pair of chinks, a tack box, and some other little projects. I'd like to get some pictures posted soon, but as of late, I'm pretty busy.

I'm not even sure how many I have. All I know is, I have A LOT. I have just about every animal that Schleich has made. I've been collecting them since they came out. I have new and old, cheap and expensive. I''m starting to collect the fairies and mythical creatures, unicorns and pegasuses, as well.
I also have quite a few Breyer horses. I have one special edition horse and one rare horse. I also have several small Breyers and a mini Breyer stable, along with a big one and a medium sized one. Since I love Breyer so much, it has been my dream ever since I was little to go to Breyerfest in Kentucky. |

Yas. A topic of Schleich lovers!! Just what I've been looking for!! ^^
So far I have 11 Schleich horses- Clydesdale mare, Gelding and Foal Paint mare, Foal and Stallion Appaloosa mare and Foal Tinker Mare Friesian Mare Quarter Horse Mare Making 11 total. I don't have any Breyer's, as I can't afford them. But I love Schleich, All I need to do though, is make a spot to put them all. But I don't have a stable, or any room to make a stable for 11+ horses. D: I've been collecting Schleich for a while now. My Tinker Mare is a retired model from '03, my Sorrel Quarter Horse Mare is retired as well, she's from 2000. My Friesian Mare, is relatively new, from 2013. My other horses, I'm getting for Christmas. I've had my Tinker, Quarter and Friesian mares for a long time. I'm just now adding to my herd. I really would like to expand my herd. But I don't have a shelf, or anywhere to put anything to store them in. But I'm hoping to get more horses soon, and hopefully some place to put them as well! |
