Haven't been here for a bit...
I asked mum if I could knit some more rugs for my horsies, since some of then have got scratched and whatnot... but that hasn't happened yet.
Do you guys think sewing rugs or knitting would be better?

Hey! I'm back. Not for long though. I haven't really played howrse in like a month or more. I think knitting would be better for protection, but seeing would be better for play, because it would look more realistic.

In the past couple of days, I made a fairly nice-looking felt saddle, a matching bridle, a light blue saddle pad and a white lollipop pad to go with them, and a light brown real suede halter. The halter turned out really nicely, except that the lace, which I had to cut apart myself by case it was too thick, is not perfectly even along it, and the jump rings are kinda big. I couldn't fit 3 pieces of suede through my little jump rings, so I had to use the bigger ones.

Going back to the previous page, I think that the horse is a haflinger. No proof though. Although i do know that safari ltd has a Rocky Mountain stallion.

I recently got four older Schleich horses. One is a POA, chestnut spotted blanket appaloosa. The others I'm not too sure of breed. They're draft horses, either Shire of Clydesdale. One is black, grazing, and the other one is bay, standing. The foal is bay as well. Does anyone know which horses these might be?

Standing bay is most likely the Clydesdale gelding. Foal is probably a shire. I believe there are two bay shire foals, one trotting, one standing.

The grazing one is a shire mare. I do not believe Schleich has ever made a POA, so that one is probably an Appaloosa. Do you have pictures of them?

The bosal doesn't have reins yet. Also the light brown halter is made of real suede. The gray one is made of fake suede then there's a light blue halter and bareback pad.

Oh! And the cream ear net. That was a test, but it worked, so now it has pencil marks... Also I had to hole it on because it's meant to go under a bridle, and I didn't add strings.

Ok. Last one. I feel like I'm spamming the topic.

The boots are supposed to be those bell boots with the interlocking plastic petals. The saddle is very stressful to get on. The ear net doesn't fit under the bridle, so it's falling off. I made the whole set with only felt, ribbon, jump rings, and hot glue.
