Gah, I wish I had a Schleich YouTube or a Breyer YouTube... My parents have this weird thing about stuff like that though. YouTube especially. Grrrr. -_-

I guessing they either say "your to young", or"there are weird poeple out there" Or the classic"Why do you want suscribers and to be popular, when I was a kid, I didn't!"
Ha, yeah, they're always saying "There are weird people out there". Well, yes. There are. But there are weird people everywhere!

I want to get some apoxie and stuff so I can make an Indy schliech model.

Indy was my neighbors black tennesee walker cross. She was green, and Verry naughty because they didn't know how to discipline her, and didn't have time to fix the so easily fixable horse, so they put her down. She was 15 or so, pretty spirited, but controllable enough for a novice 11 year old. She had dapples when her coat was she'd and Arabian type face. But they didn't know how/didnt have the time to deal with her. I am not happy with them seeing as she was so easily fixed, very strong, and beautiful.

So, I want to make a sort of memorial model of her. I can't decide what model to use though.

Hmm, the tennesee stallion has a slimmer face, The friesian mare and the newer knabstrupper one may work too...

What about the Morgans? I think either the mare or stally looks like a TWH

They don't have Morgan's....
The new Knabstrupper mare may work for that, or the Tennesee Walker mare.

Yeah, I would use Tue friesan mare, but she has feathers. I was thinking the Tennessee walker mare, but use epoxie, and maybe an exacto knife.

Schleich did have a morgan many years ago:

Yeah, I would go for the Tennesee Walker mare. But it's not my custom, so your choice.

Huh, never seen that one! Pretty though. It was probably before my time as a collector.

I think I will and maybe dish out and narow her face?
By Retired breeder, 26th July 2015 20:03:58
That would work well!
Yeah! If the mare had an Arabian-type face maybe you could use an exacto knife or something to make it a little finer and slimmer.

Are collect-a the same size as schliech?
About the same size, I think, if not a little larger. Their plastic is more pliable but I like them. Unfortunately don't have more than one or two lying around somewhere.

I used to collect Schleich figures once, but when I had about 10 of them I realised they only occupy space on the shelf and do nothing more. I wasn't really keen on taking photos of/repainting them. So I decided that in my case it's a waste of money and stopped collecting them. As far as I remember I gave the figures to one of my younger cousins.

Okay thanks, I was wondering.

Ok, so I think I have one of these model horse things. Do they sometimes come with like medieval style riders guys on them?? Mine looks really funny because when I was little I took some eyeliner and gave my model horse like extreme winged eyes and like makeup all over its body. default smiley *-)default smiley xd
Yup, that could be Schleich or Papo. Do you have a picture? If not, what does it look like?
