Yup default smiley :) it would probably take a while, but if that's the horse you feel is right it'll be worth it!

Ok, so I think I have one of these model horse things. Do they sometimes come with like medieval style riders guys on them?? Mine looks really funny because when I was little I took some eyeliner and gave my model horse like extreme winged eyes and like makeup all over its body. default smiley *-)default smiley xd

Does he have a french sign, a lion sign, or a cross sign on him?
Lol I cant wait till the new 2016 schleich come out default smiley *-) I've collected almost all of them!

Me too! I got all this year's Schleich save the Tinker foal, but I'll get her soon. Then I can enjoy my complete collection for a couple months, until the new ones come out, and then the whole cycle repeats itself. XD It's been going on for a while.

I just remolded the old fresian mares legs with a lighter. I got the new fresian mare the other day, so I think I'm going to remold the old one and make her a different breed/shade of black (I can't stand the sun-faded look on her)
By Retired breeder, 27th July 2015 03:54:58
That's cool with the lighter! Sounds fun!

I accidently burned myself from touching her leg before it had a small chance to cool down a little..... But I'm working on getting her into the extended trot position
So you guys use lighters to re-position their legs? I'm not very good at customizing (I've only really painted, not sculpted or re-positioned). Would dipping the leg in boiling water work? Just curious about it, I'd like to try it.

I actually had one of those spur-of-the-moment ideas Skeeter, and it's late at night here so in order not to wake up my mom by boiling water I just snuck the lighter to my room (being very careful not to let the flame anywhere near my mattress and stuff)
Haha, my mom would go ballistic if she realized I was in the possession of something hot and flammable late at night without her supervision. XD Moms.

Well, think about it. How would you feel if you accidentally set your house on fire, and you lost everything? OMW my freind Amber is rubbing off on me.default smiley :o (she is like thisdefault smiley ^)

But I might try the lighter tHing in the day, on cement.
True. If anyone's liable to do something like that in the house, it's either me or my cats. XD Except the cats would do it on purpose.

I reshape my horses legs in a pot of constantly oiling water, in seconds their mushy again! Plus, if you customized them before, boiling water takes of acrilic, sometimes.

So, boiling water or a lighter. And wear glovesdefault smiley (lol) Kool I wanna try that!

Yep! Little claspers or something to bring the horse out of the water is neccesary though, and you have to put it under very cold water while holding its position in order for it to work.

Yeah her name is Bugsy. I call her my "pretty girl" she's a flea bitten grey. But she's more grey than flea bitten. I am NEVER getting a grey again. She. Loves. Dirt.
