Cool! I made a draft stable area with another table that I fit in my room. It has dirt as the ground and a red barn from mellisa and doug that fits schleich perfectly along with a few other mellisa and doug stables! I also made a dirt road! I really want to make a youtube account, and I got permission to make one, just need a camera... My sis is selling one, so I might buy it from her! I still have to think what I would name my youtube account though...

name it after you stables! That's what I did!

I might just do that! So, today I am going to try out my neighbors horse and so my teacher is coming to my house and I am going to show her my stables!

Oh, and I made a feed room with different grains(10) and Now all I need are little scoops so that I can scoop up the grain and put it in bowls!
By Retired breeder, 1st June 2015 17:02:46
Try foil for the scoops.

If you don't want to name it after your stables, I don't know what you could name it default smiley xd. If I get a YouTube channel, I don't think I'll name it after my stables, because I might do DIY stuff for REAL horses, or something with any type of model horse, maybe videos of me at a lesson, (if I find a barn) whatever. Ya know?
For Naming Stables;

I named my stable on DeviantArt off of a creek I live by. My Schliech stable I named Arrowhead Stables, off of the arrowheads I find in my yard all the time... ^.^

Great Idea! Who here loves SCS's series?
By Retired breeder, 2nd June 2015 03:13:56
I don't want SCS much.

Ok so I want something to name default smiley (lol) I thought of an amazing name: Rose Memorial Stables. My relation's cemetery that he had is named Rose Memorial Park. Now the land around the couple of graves (and also the building) is going to be sold, and I thought naming a barn after it would be a good... Memorial. To Rose Memorial Park.

OMG! Rose Memorial Arabian Foal Sanctuary! RMAFS. How do you say that? Rumahfs? Maybe just Rose Memorial Arabians...
By Retired breeder, 2nd June 2015 03:32:16
That is so nice, respectful, and sounds great! Go with RMAFS. I just watched cowgirl's and angel and cried! This girl finds her dad(not to mention, he looks like he is in his 20's! Did he get a surgery to deage him???)

default smiley (lol)

Ahh the good memories I have of RMP... Mainly the bomb we found cleaning out the garage, like a year ago or maybe two. There was just a WWII bomb in the garage default smiley (lol)

Yeah now I just need to wait until we move (and a while after) then maybe I'll go to micheals and pick up some Arab foals.

Cool! Playmobil fences works well for square, rectangle, pentagon, hexagon, octagon, trapezoid, or really any odd angular shape default smiley (lol). I find that playmobil is easy and the stuff that is normally plain is rather realistic default smiley (lol). If you got a playmobil barn though you could probably paint it wood grain etc.

Playmobil stuff I use: stalls, barns, feed, fence blue jump parts as saddle racks, cavaletti, furniture, and buckets (plus a couple other little things)
All of my barns and stuff is homemade

me and my friend are in the process of building a barn (we work on it when im down there) and we wanted to build a riding ring. the box we have set aside for this is pretty tall, so i was wondering whether or not you guys would cut the sides down and make them shorter? we were also needing ideas on what to use as the "floor" in the arena (must be carpet freindly even though we will be keeping it in the box)

Depends on box and what type of arena.

Outside Arena? Cut down the sides.

Inside Arena? I'd leave them tall.

And for the floor.... Sand, Cut Up Paper, Sawdust, Sawdust Chips, or just some construction paper!

Fizz I do believe I got the saddle rack idea from your barn tour default smiley (lol)
By Retired breeder, 3rd June 2015 14:32:15
For arena footing:

Carpet friendly... That's hard default smiley (lol)

You could use cut up paper.

Or cut up foam bits.

Or sandpaper, but that would probably kill your horses' hooves.

I bet you could find sand scrapbook paper!

thanks guys! well look through their craft supplies next time im down there and see what we can find
By Retired breeder, 3rd June 2015 16:27:52

Retired breeder wrote:

If you're going to make your horse "run" on sandpaper it will scratch the paint.
