The things in parentheses are just little notes to help me remember how my idea actually made sense default smiley (lol)

So... Would you buy anything from that tack shop? Anything that could use a different price, or that you would want to buy from a tack shop that isn't on there? Anything that you don't think anybody would buy? All opinions are welcome! default smiley :)

I have both of them and love them! But the icy mare has a funky body....

Personally, I wouldn't buy any thing from there since I can make them all, but if I didn't know how to make them, I would buy everything!

I collect the Schleich Horses since two years. But I don´t like the new quality, because they are very ...soft now. But they look very, very pretty. My favourite ones are the Clydesdales and the Tennessee Walker and the Pintos. Every Horse have his own name.
For example:
The Tennesse Walker stallion names Niko and his Luna.default smiley (l)
I have about 50-60 models, default smiley :) chuffed with them, have a few custom ones too, which is like a black/silver with red eyes and a purple mane default smiley :)

I want them to make another TB !! Jo, of the prices were a tad bit lower, I'd buy all your stuff cause the only thing I can make is a string halter. Even that looks horrid...default smiley (lol)
By Retired breeder, 30th May 2015 00:48:15
Yeah but ya gotta make money default smiley (lol) if people sold halters for 50 cents each, I'd be all over that. But, not only must you buy supplies (materials, hot glue, etc.) you also put in up to a few hours of work for somethings on that list. (UP TO, I don't think I've taken more than an hour on one thing ever other than maybe my big barn)

So excited!! I think that I'm going to be able to have an art studio in my new room! I already have WAY more built in shelf space than I need, so I can store some supplies (and maybe my Schleich barns if I make them look actually good, not like colorful cardboard default smiley (lol)). My aunt has some little tables (although a desk would be awesome... My sis has one in her new room that I don't think she wants... It's a hideous pink color, but I'm repainting my beds anyways...). To put in beneath the window, I get a new (and hopefully much better) light fixture, and the bathroom is not far away so I have a sink!! Yes!

Ok I'm thinking of making an Arabian "breeding farm" because I've already got 4 Arab foals and 2 Arab mares, and I'd just basically collect, customize, and potentially resculpt Arabians from Schleich and safari, maybe even collectA! Off to find info on resculpting... My problem is I don't want to spend every penny I have on crafting tools and Schleich. Maybe if I get into it enough my mom will let me buy off ebay...

Oh and the cat scratch post would be custom, also if I did coops or hutches they would be.

So today I went to my friends house, sorted her GINOURMOUS collection to see exactly how many full sets of horses (breed wise) and how many retired models she has........ We also started making a barn and stuff...... I got some pictures of all her horses (she has some other stuff from schliech too) and will upload later
By Retired breeder, 30th May 2015 11:11:51
Cool! My friend probably has like 50 safari and Schleich if you count her sister's horses!

Much Better. The first one was WAY too high.. default smiley :p Nobody would buy. But, you need to lower the prices of the Summertime, Western, Western Comfort, and Leason. They are much too high. The Quality Boots also need to be lowered. The Saddles need to be lowered a bit too. I wouldn't buy a six dollar saddle. :/ Honestly. Sorry. Unless I see your work. And lastly the Bridle needs to be lowered a bit. A dollar for string is a bit much...

Otherwise, it looks GREAT! The lower the prices the more people will come and buy things. A lot of tack is expensive and isn't even good! So, I would lower the prices I stated above... Nobody is going to buy ten dollars of tack... In ONE set!!!

So, good luck and try to lower the prices! You'll make your money back quickly when people buy and order large orders!!

If I had a tack shop I would do 50 cents for a halter since I get ribbon for 50 cents and I can make 40 halters of that ribbon, already saving! Where can we submit ideas to schleich?
By Retired breeder, 30th May 2015 14:50:12
I might actually start a tack shop...
I don't know where to send ideas to schliech penguin it was just a wild idea! Lol
