i have a small collection of no more than 15 schleich horses

Schleich are really durable and we only managed to break one leg when we were little

I've had Schleich and safari horses since I was like 4. One is in decent condition, with only a couple of scratches (not paint, they literally go into the surface of the horse) another is fairly scratched, the foal is actually quite nice, I think only some nose and hoof rubs, and the Schleich QH mare is HORRID. Her nose is all scratched up, her ears have a mark that goes across the front (scissors??) her hooves are really rubbed up, her socks are fairly scratched, and she is COVERED in lighter chestnut spots where she's super rubbed, but I've never broken any horse that I can remember... Other those fuzzy horses with the glued on hair... Eventually the mane mostly peeled off a mare and foal, but I don't even think that's my fault

Impressive! I've never managed to break any of my Schleich horses, and I got my first one around 7 years old! And believe me, they've experienced some trying times. Like that time I tried model horse photography and several tumbled into the creek and went on a little joyride...

Yup, no Schleich ponies escaped that day. My great dane dog did pose a threat to them, though... Same with my curious cats, always walking all over the shelves and knocking my models off, leaving a trail of fallen horses in their wake. So far though, no broken or lost horses against all odds.

Ya they r really durable... And it's pretty amazing for us that only one leg got broke because we were little 3year olds banging them against a table pretending they were running away from the coyotes or something...

Now they sit on shelves in my room... We ve retired them...

I counted recently, and I found out that I have 114 horses, not counting other animals or riders. I scare even myself. Do you guys figure I have a little bit of an obsession?

Nope and do u have the schleich chicken or zebra?

I have the donkey foal... I don't really want other animals unless its puppies (I pretend they are grown dogs) because they're all HUGE!

Ok maybe some cows sheep and pigs, but my barn is a stable not a farm. I'd kinda like to have a few calves for my western horses though....

Does anybody know what breed the retired mare is? The one that's "white" with light brown hair, and her head turned around so she's basically looking backwards? She is SO cute!

Did you know that in the Disney XD show Kickin' It, they used a Schleich rabbit? At least I'm pretty sure it's the Schleich sitting rabbit. I think the spots are lighter, but you can see it still has the same spots, in the same pose, and it's the right size... I just thought that was cool because Schleich is awesome and I love that show

First off I'm a forum killer . Secondly, I built a barn yesterday!! It has one large stall, two shelves of cardboard, one big (and not at all level ) Popsicle stick shelf, two tack hooks that I can put half circle playmobil things on for saddle racks (I saw that in a barn tour. I think it was fizz's. thanks fizz ) and I furnished it with a hay tack in the stall (I made that out of playmobil troughs and a wire hook that I put through the bars an over the wall) 2 playmobil kittens, a playmobil oat sack, a playmobil circus dog barrel thing, a playmobil jump that can be a water trough if you flip it over (the one that you put the half circle things on when you use it as a jump) and a playmobil wooden bucket.

My tack room is almost finished!
