I like the new paint stally!!
By Retired breeder, 17th April 2015 01:48:14
Yes! Also this topic has well over 20,000 views!!!

I really like the new Icey mare and the new Lnabby mare! I want them! But big Chex to cash is first priority right now.... That's harder, because, my dad might just take me to TSC if I ask him too, while if I ask my mom if I can buy a breyer, (or if I asked her to buy Schleich), it's a disaster. Nobody in my family understand model horses. Or real horses. Ugh

I'm gonna go see if I can get a 360 degree view of the paint stallion on the Schleich site, everybody says he's gorgeous, and while I don't like him much, it took a YouTube video for me to fall in live with the knabby mare who I nearly hated before I saw another angle. No offense but Schleich needs to find better photo angles! default smiley (lol)

Nope. No 360 of him.

However, I got inspiration. You see the big banner thing above the farm life in the new 2015? Withe the big show with the jump and three horses being ridden? You see the water jump, front and center? I now want to make a clear water jump. What about blue sun catcher paint (I think I have some!) clear plastic from toy packaging (might be harder...) and a little box (huh, that's pretty hard...) filled with... Tiny fake flower leaves and hole punches of flowers (did that with my Easter costume reins, the flowers that is, it worked great!)

And while I love the new coat pattern on the Paint stallion...I'm not too thrilled with the mane.

Yes. I have him and find his mane a little odd, almost spiky. I do like the rest of him though.

Anyone else here keep a name book for their Schleich? I've got quite a bit, and each must have a completely unique name that suits them (I know, I'm picky when it comes to names). default smiley (lol) Without it I would always forget! It's a godsend. Am I the only one who does this? Am I alone in the world?? *puts hand to forehead and faints dramatically*

I photo show 100+ model horses online...each one has a show name. Majority of them have old photos I took years ago with their name appearing on top. I've got them all separated by breed, finish and make. Each set of photos are kept in individual 4x6 photo boxes an all of the individual photo boxes are kept in a plastic case.

I have my horses registered but that's it!

It's super nice today so if I can get out of cleaning so we can put our house on the market, I might get to take pictures of my Schleich! And maybe my breyer paddock pals and stablemates. Maybe.
I was skimming through MH$P and came across a Schleich model that was the horse with the knight and was wondering....can the tack/rider be removed are is all of that molded onto the horse? It was pretty cool looking...default smiley (y)

I don't know... I know that the Papo knights come off the horses and the tack doesn't but I have no idea about Schleich!
I don't think the tack can come off. The rider can.

I have no idea. Did any of you see my The winner's circle show infomercial?
I got three of the tack sets. Spent 60 dollars but it was worth it. I love the accessories! default smiley (7)
