Nice! Is Haines a chain store or is it just in one location? Are they online at all?

I got a new oldie today! He is 10 years old, but came brand new still in his plastic packaging! The belly says '09, so i'm assuming he came out in '10.

If you google Black and white tapir you can find the real animal.

the cheapest ive gotten them is at flea markets or thrift stores. otherwise you might want to look at sites like ebay for second hand ones.

Does anyone else customise their dupes? I have two of the flaxen chestnut Tennessee Walker mare (not sure what year), so I decided I would repaint one to make her bay (even though I have far too many bays haha)! When I finish her, I’ll post a picture.
I think I’m going to try and do a more complex colour on another dupe of a different model, too, though I’m not sure what colour to do, or if I’ll even be able to do it as I only have very basic coloured paints and pastels!

Maybe for the friesian chestnut?
And for the quarter horse maybe dun?

Well this is not the right topic for that (and I don’t even have any divine horses I can sell and no one will sell a divine for that low)

Ok guys, the trip was a success!

Here they are!

Click to display
I found pretty much the exact ones i wanted, and bought them all with a 10% off coupondefault smiley :d

I got the new 2020 snow leopard!

The new 2020 camel!

I was so glad to find the 2020 Friesian mare!

I also found the 2020 Trakehner gelding!

Besides these Schleich, i also snagged a Breyer horse, two CollectA horses and a CollectA donkey foal, and one Mojo unicorn. I don't actually collect Mojo but she was pretty so i bought her lol.

Last but not least, when i got home from my trip, the special Schleich item i previously mentioned i was waiting on had come in! Its the Gascher's Collector's Guide for Schleich Animals! This book is amazing! Its got 336 pages, and is full of color pictures of Schleich, that also tells the name (in German and English), size, price (in Euros and Dollars) and years available of all Schleich animals starting back in the 80s. Well, it was published in 09 so the animals up until then are in there, which also means the prices are different now as many have retired, and those that were already retired are that much rarer now. Each picture also has a checkmark box so when you find the item, you can check it off as a part of your collection! I love this book, and it has showed me that i have a lot more collecting to do ha ha. I started collecting in 2012ish, so i'm hoping they will make another version with the past 11+ years of critters in it, cause the majority of mine are from that time frame.
