How much does it cost to trade (replace for another card) a Platinum card?

I got a duplicate of a platinum, and I can't click "Trade" because I don't have enough money (fair enough), but it also doesn't say how much money I need for a trade.

Thanks default smiley :)

It's 50k for a diamond. How do I know this? I just got a duplicate of the one I have. default smiley (lol) Going to hold onto it for now, but was able to check without actually trading it.

This is probably the most meaningful card event. I started playing in 2009 with my mother and all the horses looked so cute and fluffy then. We got the physical cards when they were available for purchase and I still have the official binder filled with them. My mother won Xanthos through those cards but when she stopped playing she gifted him to me. I've been playing ever since, though I've had my hiatuses.

It's so nice to see how far the game has come in the form of these cards and it's really meaningful that the Owlient team was able to reflect back on certain features. I'll be looking a my complete collection when the event is over.

I'm sure there will be a more celebratory post, but thank you Owlient for 20 years of equine joy. default smiley <:o) My favourite change would be the introduction of draft horses. I remember that suggestion being in the Idea Forum when that existed and the understanding had seemed to be that they would never be introduced. Glad that the team has been listening to player feedback. default smiley (l)

I had the winning bid for a gold card in auctions, I kept refreshing it and saw it count down. It closed and showed my name but then said another bidder had taken it? Was I seeing things.

Its too bad the auctions arent easier for bidding. The 30 seconds added each bid makes it just last too long

This is so fun to see as someone who has been on this game since 2008...when i saw an ad in Horse Illustrated and made an account on my parents' desktop computer. I love the old horse design cards, hope to collect them all!

The remembering old designs made me think of other things that have changed over the years...remember the old emoji designs?

That was added some years ago because players kept losing to last minute bids. If you had a slow internet or weren't as speedy yourself, you hardly ever got to be the winning bidder. This way, everyone has the opportunity to bid up to the maximum they are willing to pay. It can be a bit tedious but is fairer to all.

Joker cards question, am I best holding these for a bit and picking options closer to the end of the event?

There's still a few old blogs floating around that you can look at old pictures of the game on. There aren't a ton of images, but there is quite a bit of text. I use them when referencing old stuff I want to remember. This image was from the Book of Howrse, and the Ultimate Howrse Helper has lots of old event postings

Yes, you can hold them until the last day if you want to use them on something you don't yet have

4 gold cards so far, which I'm of course happy about, but no platinums at all. Starting to get a bit nervous. I wish they would guarantee them if you purchased a certain number of packs again.

Same here, 3 gold cards but 0 platinum. I really hope my luck turns because I missed finishing the last cards event due to not getting one last platinum card. It seems like this event was a bad choice for the anniversary event since it so luck based, but I know lots of players love it, I’m just not one of them

There's still 14 days left to earn diamond cards. default smiley :)
I usually tend to get golds and diamonds towards the end. The game likes to make me sweat in the early stagesdefault smiley (lol)

@ Crookedstar915
me too!! Aw I love the old picture and comparing it to what there is now. I miss the little witch hat guy and the mask-off ninja!! I don't know why, but the old sunglasses guy looks so much cooler than the new one....

I do like that we have an Ow now though.

So glad to see V1/V2 graphics. They looked so much better than these dull ones they have now.

I got a Seahorse card in the Lost Items set. I'm not familiar with that item. Does anyone remember what it did?

I also got the Horn of Gold card, and I miss that item so much.

Question: if you get all the cards for a prize twice over, can you get that prize again? For example, if you get two-times of the cards for a falabella, can you get that Falabella twice?

I've always assumed that the "Horn of Gold" was a horn shaped like a drinking/blowing horn, or a cornucopia like the Horn of Plenty.
Scratching it off, I thought it was some kind of gilded hands at first before I realized it was an antler, and still had no idea until the name showed up.
