Cards: 20 years

In just 10 days, Howrse will be 20 years old! It almost feels surreal to say it out loud.

Enjoy a new set of cards showcasing the evolution of the game and some community favorite elements with the Cards event!


This event will end on 2025-09-15 14:00.

Fireworks will be available until 2025-09-16 14:00.


How to play?


Click to display
Collect and scratch cards to complete puzzles and win gifts.

There are three different types of cards:

Gift cards - Will grant you a prize immediately.

Puzzle cards - Will grant you a prize once the puzzle is complete.

Joker cards - Will help you get the card of your choice amongst those from the same level.

If you get a duplicate card, you can exchange it for a new one of the same rarity, once daily.

Complete all 5 puzzles to win a divine horse!


How to get cards

There are different ways to get cards:

With a daily connection (2 cards a day), with a bonus if you log in 5 days straight (1 Gold or Diamond card).

When taking one of your horses for a ride (1 card a day).

From winning a competition with your horses (1 card a day).

In the Flash Sales.

By spending Equus to trade your duplicate cards (1 time a day).

With Passes.

Every time you purchase a card during the Flash Sales, you earn points. When you have enough points, you unlock a private sale for a Joker card!


Jackpot

New divine: Viginti


Complete all 5 puzzles to win the special anniversary horse: Viginti.
This special divine was created for the game’s 20th anniversary.
He is part of a new series, along with Quindecim, the Anniversary series.


New divine: Fireworks


Fireworks is the newest divine horse from the Fire series.
You can get fragments for this divine in the Tyche’s Crown, by playing the Cards event and by completing your Daily Objectives.

I just need 2 diamonds now; 1 for Petit, then to ultimately get Viginti. And then 1 for the Gift Cards, though I'll just be happy to get the one to finish the Puzzles, even when the collector instinct in me wants them all. x'D And then I wasn't even going to try for Fireworks, but I looked the other day and saw I am 102 fragments away, so now I'm kinda excited and wouldn't mind getting them too. So fingers crossed I get extremely luck in these last few days, though the pessimist in me isn't very hopeful. The event was still super fun though.

it shouldn't cost ANYTHING for this divine. everyone who was on on the 8th should have had the opportunity to get him for free and no one should be getting double.

Can someone tell me why I can't use the staff to obtain a crown or anything for that matter it is like it is not there but I have 2 in my inventor?default smiley :(

You don't use the Staff from the Black Market page for the item, it's a little odd. You go to the page where you purchase the BMI you want to use, and then it'll pop up as an option to purchase (alongside ones in your inventory, and buying it with passes).

It's limited to items in the item exchange, though, so unfortunately you can't get crowns with it at all.

For some reason, Howrse haven't made that an option, Although it works for Titan's challenge and fleeces. It is rather annoying. Not being able to swap them in the exchange is different than other luck items too.

If you've been on schedule, yesterday was the final loyalty card bonus. It restarts after five days and now we don't have enough time for a final round.

The on schedule dates for the bonus card were the 1st, 6th, and 11th of September. The event ends on the 15th, so we'd just miss a fourth one.

Hey guys...how many Fireworks fragments have you guys gotten in the Tyches Crowns? Is it decent or just the typical 18? That would seem awfully stingy for a divine that just gives an A. Heel. I don't want to use my precious TCs for that!default smiley :o

For now I think it's safe to say, I am done with the event, I love cards events , so I went overboard default smiley (lol) I got Fireworks divine, Vigniti ( accidentally got the second one too default smiley (lol) ) , got 5 T.Crowns, 4 Falabellas, 3 staffs, 7 H.packs. so definitely happy with the haul default smiley :)

I umm.... got a bit carried away while aiming to finish the card trophy while there were actual good prizes. default smiley (lol) Ended up with four copies of the divine, 6 falas, 7 staffs, 6 fleeces, and 7 harmony packs. I'm also sat on 22 jokers, two of which are gold and one diamond. Will see what the final total is on Monday once I've used them. It's a shame that the duplicate anniversary divines won't do anything, but they can still be worked daily for equus or used as an aging point farm horse at some point.

I think they want to keep the Crown exclusive. You can't rely on divines, scales and staffs for the Crown. You either save them or use passes.

It's always 18 except for the Great Challenge where it's 32 since there's no frags in the daily objectives. They never adjust based on the actual worth of the divine.

No passes used on cards and Viginti is mine. Got a duplicate silver that I traded before getting my 'win a competition' card, but that one was also silver and turned out to be the last card for the puzzles.

Now I'm just missing a single bronze prize card to have a full set of cards

just spent 4000 passes to get Fireworks, it was a mess but I was getting bored of the game so thought I try to speed things up. Got Viginti extremely cheap because of good luck, but Fireworks... I kept opening crowns just to see that sad 18 pieces of fragments. Tried to finish the fragment puzzle again but did not have luck with diamon cards. I was so mad, only got the last fragments by a hair...

Im missing two gold cards, but I havent spend any passes yet. I do have two golden jokers that I could use, but I think I want to wait and see what the last three days have in store for me.

I FINALLY got him!!! FINALLY!!
However I had to buy 1 set of cards today to do so… I bought a couple sets last weekend as well… but I’m still missing the last diamond card for the staff. Not too worried about that though, if I get it - good - if not - oh well, I’m definitely not buying another set of cards!!
I like the cards event… I really do… but I ALWAYS have horrible luck with it… I’ve never had a non stressful experience with the cards event…

Insert a BIG sigh of relief here __!
