Finally a post just for us cross breeders. The purpose of this topic is for cross breeders to have a place to discuss their crossbreeding programs and to share crossbreeding secrets and advice with others who may be interested in giving crossbreeding a try. Feel free to talk about your crossbreeding programs and your achievements and failures in crossbreeding.
Please remember to follow the rules of the forum and be informative and helpful. default smiley :-))

Reminder to all.

Please do not advertise sales or items wanted in this topic. I can turn a blind eye to the covers being offered (as long as they are not blatant advertisements) because we are, after all, trying to help each other progress and there is no filter on public covers for searching for crosses, but items sales and items wanted do not belong in any of the public forums and we have a sales forum for horse sales so please, lets keep our topic clean of the ads.

Thanks everyone

There are reasons for rules and everyone is expected to follow them. There will be no posting of advertisements in this topic and everyone is expected to be respectful. Any disrespect towards fellow players or moderators will not be tolerated. Anyone posting advertisements will receive a forum ban without prior warning. If breaking of rules continues to take place in this topic I will delete it.

Thank you

If anyone has personal issues with another player, or needs something back from another player(items/passes), other than covers/fills-please take it to private pms...anymore posting here will mean an instant forum ban without a warning.

A reminder that this is not the place for trading/buying/selling BMI, horses or advertising or asking for someone to train your horse.
If any of these things occur, you will be forum banned without prior warning.

Hello all,
I have had a project in mind recently to create a crossbred horse that has genetics in every horsebreed on the game.

I was wondering if anyone had any advice/tips to how to achieve this. Thank you so much (if possible may you PM me because it is likely I will forget to frequently check in here.

New Filly. What do you guys think?

Do you mean a horse with all the breeds in its bloodline? I recently finished my own All Breed Project from foundations. This is United As One. She has all the light horse and pony breeds on the game in her bloodline.

I actually did a sort of blog about it in my EC forum if you want to check that out. But what I did was take a foundation of every breed, pair them up and then breed those pairings. Then take their foals, pair them up and breed them and so on. I ended up breeding 6 generations that way(foundation level I called Gen 0). That took longer because I had to blup every horse myself. Other players that have done this started with a mare and then used public coverings and crossed each breed off as they went. My project took a while, but I felt I was better able to keep track of the breeds that way.

And here's my newest cross in Sizzling Sunset. Much obliged to Starry-Eyed for the coverings it took to get this guy. I'm quite looking forward to using this one as a comper, and then using his twin for breeding later on to see what else I can mix up.

I think that I'm going to do another Gypsy/Lusitano cross. I don't know when, exactly, though. Whenever I have time. Maybe tomorrow. default smiley :p
Hey all! I'm a little new to crossbreeding and was wondering what crosses are for good solid stamina and gallop with lower speed? I want a comper but don't want to have one with insanely high speed because I'd end up wasting my time and money because he would just get beat up by the high speed horses. I've been toying with a few crosses but they aren't stacking out right. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance! default smiley 8-)

Anyone have a list of horses' skills in order from best to worst anywhere? Also, a list of cross breeding friendly teams? I had them bookmarked and I kinda sorta don't have it anymore since I don't have a computer anymore. Thanks in advanced!

Shayla is looking great. What do you think? I want to build on her dressage so planning to sit down and see what breed with the highest dressage also have as the highest gp and see if I can get a high gp cover
By Retired breeder, 4th July 2016 07:41:45

I want to do another GV/Lusitano cross but the top GP GV coverings are pretty low at the moment, compared to Lusitano GP. Does anyone know if the top GV teams offer coverings to crossbreds?
Does anyone remember when the QH x Wari's were around? I remember a QH x Wari won the reining grand prix twice...

I'm currently working on getting the items/passes together to breed and skill my newest cross. default smiley (y)

Woo! Finally found a halfway decent Haffy to breed my TB mare to, so next week I can say bai bai to her and see what other fun things I can expect from my even more crossed crosses.

In other news...

Icelandic/QH due in...2 days?
And Gypsy/Selle/KWPN due in 2 days as well. That one I'm really excited to see...

And as a reminder, 7th ave. Gypsy team is cross friendly. And caffeine is awesome default smiley xd

Latest baby from the All Breed project. Named her after my late grandmother's family as she passed away 3 years ago today.
