Finally a post just for us cross breeders. The purpose of this topic is for cross breeders to have a place to discuss their crossbreeding programs and to share crossbreeding secrets and advice with others who may be interested in giving crossbreeding a try. Feel free to talk about your crossbreeding programs and your achievements and failures in crossbreeding.
Please remember to follow the rules of the forum and be informative and helpful. default smiley :-))

Reminder to all.

Please do not advertise sales or items wanted in this topic. I can turn a blind eye to the covers being offered (as long as they are not blatant advertisements) because we are, after all, trying to help each other progress and there is no filter on public covers for searching for crosses, but items sales and items wanted do not belong in any of the public forums and we have a sales forum for horse sales so please, lets keep our topic clean of the ads.

Thanks everyone

There are reasons for rules and everyone is expected to follow them. There will be no posting of advertisements in this topic and everyone is expected to be respectful. Any disrespect towards fellow players or moderators will not be tolerated. Anyone posting advertisements will receive a forum ban without prior warning. If breaking of rules continues to take place in this topic I will delete it.

Thank you

If anyone has personal issues with another player, or needs something back from another player(items/passes), other than covers/fills-please take it to private pms...anymore posting here will mean an instant forum ban without a warning.

Edit by pixiesbite

A reminder that this is not the place for trading/buying/selling BMI, horses or advertising or asking for someone to train your horse.
If any of these things occur, you will be forum banned without prior warning.

So, after a bit of a hiatus, I come back with CatchTheMouse
and
TidalPower
Just after breeding the two, so hoping for the best.

Breed was successful, ending up with two nice looking twin colts.
Cryo and Pyro, the Maniac twins.

Bred my TW with high GP to a GV with high GP, in hopes to get a high GP foal... Worked somewhat as the foal's GP is around four hundred I think... But it could have been higher and I realized why... Forgot to check the BLUP on both horses and it isn't very high for either of them... Oops... But, I did catch a rare occurrence with the foal... It takes after its dam! Most goals on the game take after the site, but this one is a TW like its dam! A dark cloud with silver lining I suppose...
Just got my first 6000 GP Colt! I wish I could have teared him though. *sigh*

Is the foal Dreaming of a River?(Interesting skill set for a Walker by the way!). That one came out a Walker because the Gypsy Vanner stud was only 50% Gypsy, with a mix of other breeds, in which case the foal would take the highest percentage breed, which would be the dam's T.Walker breed.

If the sire had been a 100% Gypsy, then the foal would have taken the sire's breed.

^ Thanks! I cant wait to see how she will look like after everything is bolded and Gallop is beached. She is 25 points from the top Conn in gallop (which is another one of mine default smiley (lol)) before beaching. She looks very promising default smiley :d

I tried another experiment with Gypsy my kwpn\thoroughbred mare. Crossed her with an Argentinian Crillo
I am not new to cross breeding my teams last year took prixes with our crosses

Im a bit stumped with to do with this little horse I want to blup it and see what could come from horses like this but part of me is like meh

I was dabbling with mustang crosses for more speed and stam but made a little too much dress to be good for barrels >.<

No idea what to do with this

If you're looking to keep speed and stamina high while also improving gallop, might I suggest Trakes? Or a Trake cross, at least. You might lose out a tiny bit on speed with a pure Trake.

Hi Blaze! I was happy to own a couple of your Prix cross. I'm sad they are no longer.

The skill set of this one is similar to a purebred Crio, except Speed and Dressage skills are swapped for the #2 and #3 spots. Cross it with a Paint x PSH mare and cross your fingers for Crio to be the foal's breed and have a very speedy Crio.

This is the top Crio for speed right now. You could definitely do better than this one with your horse and the paint x psh mixed in.
Appy x Crio

Your cross would do great in breed barrels and open Trot & Gallop. Beach down trot and leave it untrained for a serious comp stomper.

And that is where I turn away...

Anyway, just created this little girl. She's got a similar skillset to her momma though, so I'll probably sell her. Not really sure what to add in there, and I don't want it to be one of the more popular breeds (Selles, GVs, TBs, KWPNs).

Check out my experiment with Gypsy and let me know what you think. And do you think Vanner mixed in would be a good cross? Gypsy's Dream
