Finally a post just for us cross breeders. The purpose of this topic is for cross breeders to have a place to discuss their crossbreeding programs and to share crossbreeding secrets and advice with others who may be interested in giving crossbreeding a try. Feel free to talk about your crossbreeding programs and your achievements and failures in crossbreeding.
Please remember to follow the rules of the forum and be informative and helpful. default smiley :-))

Reminder to all.

Please do not advertise sales or items wanted in this topic. I can turn a blind eye to the covers being offered (as long as they are not blatant advertisements) because we are, after all, trying to help each other progress and there is no filter on public covers for searching for crosses, but items sales and items wanted do not belong in any of the public forums and we have a sales forum for horse sales so please, lets keep our topic clean of the ads.

Thanks everyone

There are reasons for rules and everyone is expected to follow them. There will be no posting of advertisements in this topic and everyone is expected to be respectful. Any disrespect towards fellow players or moderators will not be tolerated. Anyone posting advertisements will receive a forum ban without prior warning. If breaking of rules continues to take place in this topic I will delete it.

Thank you

If anyone has personal issues with another player, or needs something back from another player(items/passes), other than covers/fills-please take it to private pms...anymore posting here will mean an instant forum ban without a warning.

A reminder that this is not the place for trading/buying/selling BMI, horses or advertising or asking for someone to train your horse.
If any of these things occur, you will be forum banned without prior warning.

Notbob; Not that I know of. That is when HB and I back breed. We usually have a generation or two that we don't have to do that. But with 22%, I think you will need to just back breed. Unless you can find a proper stally.

Twi, thanks, I guess I'll have to rebreed back to the filly's father; that's really weird if you think about it.. >.<

I think I have had to do that with our Trakes. The family tree does look odd. Lol

Oh but if the father has the same percentage, it won't change. Only GP will go up an itty bit.

Going to enter Always in WP comps. Let me know if that might be a problem!
The father has a higher percent, around 30%. But I think the gp would go down, since the filly has 78* and the father has 71*. Too bad fresian is going to stay in this lineage for a long time, probably forever. I can't breed to any horse with any fry in it, or it will kill the hackney percent.

What about GV or TB?
Could you breed to a Trake? Even if it doesn't turn out Hackney dominant, maybe breeding back to the filly or her father would?...just thinking out loud.

I need some advice guys. So I've decided to keep Angels (but I changed her name to AfterAllThisTime...Always) because she's turning into a bit of a comp monsterdefault smiley ;)
This is her current background but I don't know what sort of Harry Potter-ish coat I should put on her. Any suggestions?

Notbob- That's the only one I haven't done! None of my horses can see rosettes..ever!
Jello, I'm fustrated at that objective! Only one of my horses can see them, but he always loses.... I want that HoP...

I was hoping my new girl would be able to see them but her best skill is on the 400s so she can't. I was hoping to start a horde of HOPs!
Notbob, I won it with a pure friz, but once she went to visit Twi she wouldn't win anymore. None of my horses can win it, I don't even have any that can see a western rosette anymore. It is kinda sad

What's consider a good amount of wins for a horse to have?
Jello, I have started a horde of HoPs! *guards HoPs and APs*

HB, that's sad.. I guess the horses have gotten better skills, so they enter rosette comps and pwn the not-as-good rosette comp horses.
