Finally a post just for us cross breeders. The purpose of this topic is for cross breeders to have a place to discuss their crossbreeding programs and to share crossbreeding secrets and advice with others who may be interested in giving crossbreeding a try. Feel free to talk about your crossbreeding programs and your achievements and failures in crossbreeding.
Please remember to follow the rules of the forum and be informative and helpful. default smiley :-))

Reminder to all.

Please do not advertise sales or items wanted in this topic. I can turn a blind eye to the covers being offered (as long as they are not blatant advertisements) because we are, after all, trying to help each other progress and there is no filter on public covers for searching for crosses, but items sales and items wanted do not belong in any of the public forums and we have a sales forum for horse sales so please, lets keep our topic clean of the ads.

Thanks everyone

There are reasons for rules and everyone is expected to follow them. There will be no posting of advertisements in this topic and everyone is expected to be respectful. Any disrespect towards fellow players or moderators will not be tolerated. Anyone posting advertisements will receive a forum ban without prior warning. If breaking of rules continues to take place in this topic I will delete it.

Thank you

If anyone has personal issues with another player, or needs something back from another player(items/passes), other than covers/fills-please take it to private pms...anymore posting here will mean an instant forum ban without a warning.

Edit by pixiesbite

A reminder that this is not the place for trading/buying/selling BMI, horses or advertising or asking for someone to train your horse.
If any of these things occur, you will be forum banned without prior warning.

Tas what about paintxHano? I got a couple in the Hano rankings if you want to take a look at those too, but they are more speed/jump orientated

You know, I think I want to skill a Welsh. Wonder if I can get some money for passes this weekend.....
Shiannes I even have a stallion if you fancy breeding it default smiley :p pb and the highest GP in coverings atm. I love spending passes on decent GP stallions getting a load of money through coverings and then killing them off to get the pass I spent in the first place back
Taz sure I will do, to which mare would you like it to?

I would want a mare though maveric cause I like 4-way crosses better. Plus, I'd need to scrounge up the passes for a Cloud Pack and find a Nyx before I even think about my next cross.
Just be warned the last couple of 4-ways I've done have come out as the sire's breed either way... 1 had very similar GPs all round as well, so I don't know what caused that one

I'm being lazy, and would rather read Creepypasta and eat Chinese food than care for my online horses. u.u

maverick- I know. I had that happen to me before with a TB/Aussie/Fry/Vanner I was trying to do. Ended up having to re breed a stallion.
I don't know why it does that, this is why I try to avoid 4-way crossbreeding

Here's the baby. Again, with the boys. :I I want girls.
By Retired breeder, 3rd March 2012 00:33:38
Taz- I have the opposite problem!
By Retired breeder, 3rd March 2012 00:36:01
Let's trade!
Hey I was wondering if anyone knows how a foal's breed is determined when the % is the same for more than one breed. I have 2 Shagya Arabs (a mare and a stallion) that both have equal parts Shagya and Gypsy Vanner and so far every time I've bred them I get a Gypsy Vanner not a Shagya. Is that what it will always be, or is it random?

If the stally is Vanner then it will always be Vanner.
