Finally a post just for us cross breeders. The purpose of this topic is for cross breeders to have a place to discuss their crossbreeding programs and to share crossbreeding secrets and advice with others who may be interested in giving crossbreeding a try. Feel free to talk about your crossbreeding programs and your achievements and failures in crossbreeding.
Please remember to follow the rules of the forum and be informative and helpful. default smiley :-))

Reminder to all.

Please do not advertise sales or items wanted in this topic. I can turn a blind eye to the covers being offered (as long as they are not blatant advertisements) because we are, after all, trying to help each other progress and there is no filter on public covers for searching for crosses, but items sales and items wanted do not belong in any of the public forums and we have a sales forum for horse sales so please, lets keep our topic clean of the ads.

Thanks everyone

There are reasons for rules and everyone is expected to follow them. There will be no posting of advertisements in this topic and everyone is expected to be respectful. Any disrespect towards fellow players or moderators will not be tolerated. Anyone posting advertisements will receive a forum ban without prior warning. If breaking of rules continues to take place in this topic I will delete it.

Thank you
zepharo

If anyone has personal issues with another player, or needs something back from another player(items/passes), other than covers/fills-please take it to private pms...anymore posting here will mean an instant forum ban without a warning.

Edit by pixiesbite

A reminder that this is not the place for trading/buying/selling BMI, horses or advertising or asking for someone to train your horse.
If any of these things occur, you will be forum banned without prior warning.

One of those cases where you cross two 50/50 twins expecting the foal to be the sire's dam's breed but you end up with the sire's breed instead. I am horribly tempted to keep BLUPping this cross until I get 72 stars, but I really want to BLUP this filly and cross her with a TB for a gallop Prixer by next Friday.

I'm not sure where to look as I am still not fully connected to the site and do not know what much means. How can we get positive blup and and stuffs?

@Khepri you should ask that in the Game Play forum.
Interesting skill set, but he looks nice Renre. Should make a decent cross country pony in breed only comps

i normally breed scrictly pure down to the bones gypsy vanners and brumbies, but, just for fun, what do you all think about breeding Apollo and Baylee when they grow up for a comp horse?
Apollo
Baylee
tatum ~First off, those links are wrong. Those horses are pretty bad and would produce a terrible foal, with entirely terrible IBS, if any at all. If you fully, 100BLUPed your horses before breeding, you'd have a MUCH better chance of producing awesome horsesdefault smiley ;)
You BLUP by bolding and training in their top 3 things and getting 20 first place wins. You should try it.

We found Love will be done very soon once she is 10 years old! Of course she doesn't have an MA yet but she will get one soon because I have 3 passes in sales coming in!

Well here is We Found Love's 2nd foal ( The first didn't come out the way I wanted) Google Me What do people think?

Is it just me or are the Exchanges really slow this week? I need to skill two crossbred Prixers but I still need to BLUP my Aussie and my Appy/Paint fillies.
By Retired breeder, 7th January 2012 19:55:15
Ahh, I hate it when you can't find the stud you want… Oh well. One out of two isn't so bad; now if only I could get my hands on a PSH/Holsteiner stallion who is fully blupped! Found by stroke of luck a Holsteiner/Lusitano stud (bred him to my Holsteiner mare, the foal will soon be posted), but no luck in the public coverings of a PSH/Holsteiner.
What should i train You got it? in to get her 20 wins?

Maybe, I was really hoping that he would have been a filly, I want to breed something that is really good, like stomping good, at barrels. I think he might have a chance to be #1 on the paint boards if I cloud him.
