Finally a post just for us cross breeders. The purpose of this topic is for cross breeders to have a place to discuss their crossbreeding programs and to share crossbreeding secrets and advice with others who may be interested in giving crossbreeding a try. Feel free to talk about your crossbreeding programs and your achievements and failures in crossbreeding.
Please remember to follow the rules of the forum and be informative and helpful. default smiley :-))

Reminder to all.

Please do not advertise sales or items wanted in this topic. I can turn a blind eye to the covers being offered (as long as they are not blatant advertisements) because we are, after all, trying to help each other progress and there is no filter on public covers for searching for crosses, but items sales and items wanted do not belong in any of the public forums and we have a sales forum for horse sales so please, lets keep our topic clean of the ads.

Thanks everyone

There are reasons for rules and everyone is expected to follow them. There will be no posting of advertisements in this topic and everyone is expected to be respectful. Any disrespect towards fellow players or moderators will not be tolerated. Anyone posting advertisements will receive a forum ban without prior warning. If breaking of rules continues to take place in this topic I will delete it.

Thank you

If anyone has personal issues with another player, or needs something back from another player(items/passes), other than covers/fills-please take it to private pms...anymore posting here will mean an instant forum ban without a warning.

A reminder that this is not the place for trading/buying/selling BMI, horses or advertising or asking for someone to train your horse.
If any of these things occur, you will be forum banned without prior warning.

Well this is what I have been working on all day. I got bored so wanted to do something a bit different. What all do you think of him? Any good you think?

If any one wants to look (I have to go and see my sick horse) under my other horses tab Midnight Interlude will hopefully be the top Trot TB.

Nice Xello! I love the coat, it's adorable. Will it be #1 for its breed?

My project. I think he's coming along really well! I just need to scrounge up a GA to put on him.
Xello; he's lovely! I'm wondering where he found that daisy in the snowy landscape. Good skill set on that one though.

I just bred a couple high GP pure Fresian colts with tears. They should bring up my EC prestige and lesson prices once trained, I think.

My Brum crosses are just as amazing as I had planned... Here's my mare, Abeline, who I've been BLUPing. She has 7 wins and 3 second places, without any filler horses added to the comps. I should be able to get her other wins tomorrow once I get a few more Age Points, then I'll work on her hubby.

I love your horse Xellos. He is GREAT! You just have to love the Fjords; they are so cute even w/o a GA.

Well Pepper's Girl still has only 7 wins. But hopefully some of the comps i entered will get her some wins.

thanks yeah I did a test breed of the parents when they were 2.6 years of age. Didn't want to waste time blupping them if I didn't get the breed I wanted.

Next time i am BLUPping a horse I'm going to get some fillers for it. How many horses can you have in a comp at once?

Thanks horsebabe. Maybe I can ask some of you guys to help me with fillers because this is getting pretty frustrating.

I'm entering mainly trot and gallop races, and I think I'm fine with her. She only needs 1 more win and she should get it once the comps she is in run. Once I start BLUPping my male foal I'll probably need some fillers to help. I was planning on buying some fillers just for him. This is the one I'm working on.

Still have about five more pages of dressage comps to run for Midday, default smiley xd For a horse bred from two of the most popular breeds I think she's doing okay.
Chimira's Gift has reached 20 wins by 5 years 6 months old!! Yay!! I'm done with the hard part (in my mind) of BLUPping.

I'm trying to breed all the different breeds on howrse in to one horse and I"m doing good so far. Pm me to tell me what you think about what I'm doing.
Chimira's Gif† now has over 20 wins and has her top 3 skills bolded and all that at only 7 years and 6 months. I am thrilled!

I am having major trouble with Jingle Bells. He has one win. If anybody sees him out there can you please give him a helping hand. He is mainly in SJ and Barrel Racing.
By Retired breeder, 30th December 2011 05:01:45
blupping Black Ninja now,
now done rides
training on dressage is done
training on jumping at 92 percent

next is x-country comps the stamina training. woot woot
By Retired breeder, 30th December 2011 05:03:32
Of course Jingle Bells decided to come short on his amount for jumping. I guess he won't be #1 after all. But I have an idea. I am going to try to get a good hano gypsy cross and then I breed that to a marwari.
By Retired breeder, 30th December 2011 05:03:38
Time to speed skill. We'll worry about the other 7 clouds later lol. Pretty happy with him. default smiley :d
By Retired breeder, 30th December 2011 05:16:42
Very nice but isn't he about to die?
Well I am really excited the foal that will be a hano is going to be a filly. Although I just realized I will get a Gypsy Vanner if I breed her to Jingle Bells but I will find her a nice Marwari cross without GV in it and that should do it for the mawari.

Lol no, he's immortal-hence the P.Stone. default smiley :p
