Finally a post just for us cross breeders. The purpose of this topic is for cross breeders to have a place to discuss their crossbreeding programs and to share crossbreeding secrets and advice with others who may be interested in giving crossbreeding a try. Feel free to talk about your crossbreeding programs and your achievements and failures in crossbreeding.
Please remember to follow the rules of the forum and be informative and helpful. default smiley :-))

Reminder to all.

Please do not advertise sales or items wanted in this topic. I can turn a blind eye to the covers being offered (as long as they are not blatant advertisements) because we are, after all, trying to help each other progress and there is no filter on public covers for searching for crosses, but items sales and items wanted do not belong in any of the public forums and we have a sales forum for horse sales so please, lets keep our topic clean of the ads.

Thanks everyone

There are reasons for rules and everyone is expected to follow them. There will be no posting of advertisements in this topic and everyone is expected to be respectful. Any disrespect towards fellow players or moderators will not be tolerated. Anyone posting advertisements will receive a forum ban without prior warning. If breaking of rules continues to take place in this topic I will delete it.

Thank you

If anyone has personal issues with another player, or needs something back from another player(items/passes), other than covers/fills-please take it to private pms...anymore posting here will mean an instant forum ban without a warning.

Edit by pixiesbite

A reminder that this is not the place for trading/buying/selling BMI, horses or advertising or asking for someone to train your horse.
If any of these things occur, you will be forum banned without prior warning.

No thanks, I'm leader of a five person group already. We might soon have a sixth member as well.
My mare Dryad, mother to Dryad's Warrior, just sold for 2 passes. I'm thrilled.

Aw, I wish I could sell one for two passes, but I suppose I'm too sympathetic.
Arabian Master- I would like to join your breeding group.

I am currently working on blupping a really nice filly. I am so excited to see.how she turns out.

Woohoo, earned some Diamonds, bought a HoP and got an HoP inside! Yay!

Anyways, hope you guys are having fun. I wish we could trade a diamond for an Aging Point. Really need some. Have 4 passes and no one wants to sell me a Nyx unless I have 5! Bleh, I might as well just save up six. Oh well.

The best sale I ever had was a TB elite sell for 6 passes. I was a pretty happy camper! Then I sold a Lustiano galloper for 8!! Woot.

My friend is helping me with my two foals. She's BLUPing the GV while I BLUP the ARab! Happy Howrsing.
The thing that surprised me was that her GP wasn't that high. She was an imortal skiller though. I thought I wouldn't get that much for her but wanted to try and chrissyh actually brought her nearly right away.

Ok, I'm curious. Do you think I should try to get 1 more pass and put an MA on this foal or try to save them since I am not allowed to buy passes?

I don't buy passes either. I depend on my pass horse farm a lot.

Here's my advice: as a general rule, I NEVER put MA on male horses.

Here's my advice on MA's, only put them on horses if you a.) could get passes for it if you sell it, b.) can be done with it in at most 2 days. (That's what I do, and I always get more passes back)

I'd say go for it Rayday. I think you'll be able to sell him, so I think you should. And very nice horse. default smiley :)
Thanks both of you. I won't be putting an MA on him. I rely on pass horses mostly too and 3 passes spent on him on top of everything else isn't worth it.

Thanks bestfriend, but the thing is if I get the MA and then need the passes for my next foal I'll regret using them when he is allready getting a CT.

Woohoo! Going to Game Stop tomorrow to get some passes!!! Thank you grandma!

This means my two foals will be BLUPed faster and I can get my product sooner. This Christmas has been nice. And maybe I was being better than what most people thought!? Oh well.

Raysay- Good choice. I save my Arms for when it counts. I never put Arms on a stallion unless its going to be immortal and females get them because they take at least 2 1/2 years to breed once where as a male can cover 4 females a day and more so they last longer. The females though, when immortal w/ arms tend to bring in less passes because males can equal your price of passes through coverings.

Well. I'm off to find some AP's. Really want to get my foals as close to three as possible before tomorrow.
Ya shiannes. I'm just glad I stopped and thought it over and didn't jump into it. And it is cool you are getting passes.

Yep. I've always wanted some. Most of mine come from sales or crediting my reserve but its a little outrageous to spend 221k on a single pass. I should be able to get a pack of 30 and a pack of 20. Should be nice.
That's really cool. That's how I get mine but I also keep some Pass horses. I've never bought passes but I wish I could. My parents won't let me bye them.

I cant stand pass horses. They just bug me for some reason.
I don't particularly like them but I put up with them so I can get passes every so often.

Makes sense. I wish I could buy passes more often (and before now) so I would have to use passes horses but I get one every now and then. I may just give in a buy two so I can get six passes already and just use the pass packs for skillers and my EC. (that really needs help)
I get them when they are younger and cheaper and then just let them get older.
