Finally a post just for us cross breeders. The purpose of this topic is for cross breeders to have a place to discuss their crossbreeding programs and to share crossbreeding secrets and advice with others who may be interested in giving crossbreeding a try. Feel free to talk about your crossbreeding programs and your achievements and failures in crossbreeding.
Please remember to follow the rules of the forum and be informative and helpful. default smiley :-))

Reminder to all.

Please do not advertise sales or items wanted in this topic. I can turn a blind eye to the covers being offered (as long as they are not blatant advertisements) because we are, after all, trying to help each other progress and there is no filter on public covers for searching for crosses, but items sales and items wanted do not belong in any of the public forums and we have a sales forum for horse sales so please, lets keep our topic clean of the ads.

Thanks everyone

There are reasons for rules and everyone is expected to follow them. There will be no posting of advertisements in this topic and everyone is expected to be respectful. Any disrespect towards fellow players or moderators will not be tolerated. Anyone posting advertisements will receive a forum ban without prior warning. If breaking of rules continues to take place in this topic I will delete it.

Thank you
zepharo

If anyone has personal issues with another player, or needs something back from another player(items/passes), other than covers/fills-please take it to private pms...anymore posting here will mean an instant forum ban without a warning.

A reminder that this is not the place for trading/buying/selling BMI, horses or advertising or asking for someone to train your horse.
If any of these things occur, you will be forum banned without prior warning.

Pretty happy with this filly
Too bad she's just shy of 13 stars in every discipline default smiley xd

Star, I said it was a test foal and that I got the dominant breed that I want. I'm not wasting time/APs to get a foal with proper IBS when I'm still waiting for word from the top QP breeding group about offering covers from their top studs to crossbreeders. If they say no, then I can just finish BLUPping the dam and rebreeding the cross.

If anyone is looking to create the perfect killer Western Pleasure horse, I suggest breeding a cross of Irish Hunters. I have a mare, an MA mare with nearly 40 WP wins!
here is my first try at a crossbreed he is Morgan and Friesian
Koda
and he is awesome! I can't wait to finish training him

Inheritance Can't believe I messed that up default smiley xd
Uuuugh...I don't like the coat I gave the filly. I didn't like any of the retiring Pegi GAs. default smiley :( I'm half tempted to blow a pass and cover the icky thing up...

On the plus side, got a pretty coat that seems to perfectly fit Massacre.

I wish I coulda put this or the next one on the filly.

Pretty.

Any the filly...maybe it's just me and y'all like it though?

Okay, my GV/Mustang stud is losing horribly in his comps, default smiley xd Let's try barrel comps next....
Wow I had no idea there were so many cross breeders! I've just started, thinking about crossing my PSH's with Friesians to raise dressage, can someone tell me if this cross is effective or not? I've already done a couple of PSH x TB's which I really love.
Also if anyone has any tips can you let me know? It's really hard to scour out them on the topic because there's so many pages!

Grah I hate breeding 4 way crosses they never come out the breed I want
Anyone have any idea why this happened? I don't breed 4way often enough

ella; crossing a Fry and PSH doesn't so much bring the dressage up, but its most definitely a worthwhile cross in my opinion. I bred one a while ago and she made an awesome comp horse when I left the trot training, that way I could get into the low level comps and with the high speed and dressage skills to back it up, she was *almost* unbeatable default smiley :p
Here's the link if you'd like to take a look
Ugh, I didn't wake up super earlier, like most of you, but I did get a 200 coat.
IDon'tNeedYou
That coat sort of works with his name, but I would rather use this coat if it wasn't an unlimited use coat.
