Finally a post just for us cross breeders. The purpose of this topic is for cross breeders to have a place to discuss their crossbreeding programs and to share crossbreeding secrets and advice with others who may be interested in giving crossbreeding a try. Feel free to talk about your crossbreeding programs and your achievements and failures in crossbreeding.
Please remember to follow the rules of the forum and be informative and helpful. default smiley :-))

Reminder to all.

Please do not advertise sales or items wanted in this topic. I can turn a blind eye to the covers being offered (as long as they are not blatant advertisements) because we are, after all, trying to help each other progress and there is no filter on public covers for searching for crosses, but items sales and items wanted do not belong in any of the public forums and we have a sales forum for horse sales so please, lets keep our topic clean of the ads.

Thanks everyone

There are reasons for rules and everyone is expected to follow them. There will be no posting of advertisements in this topic and everyone is expected to be respectful. Any disrespect towards fellow players or moderators will not be tolerated. Anyone posting advertisements will receive a forum ban without prior warning. If breaking of rules continues to take place in this topic I will delete it.

Thank you
zepharo

If anyone has personal issues with another player, or needs something back from another player(items/passes), other than covers/fills-please take it to private pms...anymore posting here will mean an instant forum ban without a warning.

Edit by pixiesbite

A reminder that this is not the place for trading/buying/selling BMI, horses or advertising or asking for someone to train your horse.
If any of these things occur, you will be forum banned without prior warning.

1159 GP for my tester. The origingal tester, to make sure I was getting a Nokota with my breeding pair, was 1158.

With the way my RDH mare is running, I may get a Wand and C. Pack through Western Objectives. Might breed a twin Noko.....

I bred an Aussi/Nokota colt to a Fry/Vanner female... wasn't that hard. Everyone else is just breeding to GV's or Fry's. I did a 4 way. Going to breed the real deal today and get him skilled today.

Sold my found nokota mare for a pass so I have extras to go all out on this little bueaty.

If I ever get my foundie Nokota BLUPped I want to try a Nokota/Fry/Standie/Morgan cross, since the Nokota's top 3 skills are dressage/trot/jump. While their GP's so low I might as well enhance their natural abilities using other breeds, XD
if only the objective didn't specify if it was an english or western rosette. My mare is picking up the cross country rosettes quite easily

I keep wishing my Lusti/Fri mare would get just one rosette, but she keeps missing out in the Trail Class and it's very frustrating default smiley xd Plus I can't really train my Holsti cross until I get an MA, another frustration...oh well!
just sold a cross for 30k and 10 passes, can't find anything to buy that will win a rosette

I have found that my best dressage horses(Lusi, Friesian, and Lusi/Frie crosses) have been able to win rosettes in Trail and Western Pleasure. I have switched them from Classical to Western to Classical and back again. I am having a tough time deciding which style to keep them.

I am the only RD owner with a horse who has won a Rosette. I feel accomplished lol.

WOO HOO! I just got a 87* GV for 9 000 equus! Perfect for my crossbreeding!
Worth rebreeding with tears? Or is the Gp not high enough?
I want to get a good foal and make it immortal, but I dont buy passes so I always have to make sure it is worth it.

I think it is pretty decent, but that is really up to you and if you think it is worth it. If I like a skill set, I don't really care what the gp is
