Finally a post just for us cross breeders. The purpose of this topic is for cross breeders to have a place to discuss their crossbreeding programs and to share crossbreeding secrets and advice with others who may be interested in giving crossbreeding a try. Feel free to talk about your crossbreeding programs and your achievements and failures in crossbreeding.
Please remember to follow the rules of the forum and be informative and helpful. default smiley :-))

Reminder to all.

Please do not advertise sales or items wanted in this topic. I can turn a blind eye to the covers being offered (as long as they are not blatant advertisements) because we are, after all, trying to help each other progress and there is no filter on public covers for searching for crosses, but items sales and items wanted do not belong in any of the public forums and we have a sales forum for horse sales so please, lets keep our topic clean of the ads.

Thanks everyone

There are reasons for rules and everyone is expected to follow them. There will be no posting of advertisements in this topic and everyone is expected to be respectful. Any disrespect towards fellow players or moderators will not be tolerated. Anyone posting advertisements will receive a forum ban without prior warning. If breaking of rules continues to take place in this topic I will delete it.

Thank you

If anyone has personal issues with another player, or needs something back from another player(items/passes), other than covers/fills-please take it to private pms...anymore posting here will mean an instant forum ban without a warning.

Edit by pixiesbite

A reminder that this is not the place for trading/buying/selling BMI, horses or advertising or asking for someone to train your horse.
If any of these things occur, you will be forum banned without prior warning.

Oh wth I lost my fountain even though A Devil's Hunger finished 76th in the gallop Prix. So stupid to lose whatever rank my Shet/Aussie would've gotten me just to make sure my EC's lessons didn't drop from 58e. Grrr....

Oh well. Need a break from mad BLUPping/skilling so I'll worry about getting it back in two weeks.
anyone have a 57+e EC I can skill my QP in?

I am going to cross horses to won rosettes in show jumping. I have never won one and I really want to default smiley ^)

Anyone got any advice on what to cross? I only care about the show jumping skills, all the other skills can be really low default smiley xd
Fifth I would love it if I could use your EC, the filly has 410 inborns

@gijjer Hanos, Aussies, and Shets are the premier showjump breeds. The best covers out there are from Aussies and Shets so I'd suggest a Shet/Aussie cross. A Hano-dominant Hano/Shet or Hano/Aussie cross would be good, too.

@Horsebabe I'll reserve a box for you right now.
I'm so sad....my mountain of AP World History homework means no skilling my Trakie this weekend default smiley :( At least that'll give her mother time to sell. As of now she wouldn't he getting a Nyx... =/

Thanks, GW!

I decided on a Coat/Ray combo for Surprising. Still in search of a center though. I could do a 56e center but I don't want to settle for a lower skill gain. default smiley :-x

I've decided to call it quits with Rollin' With Class for tonight, I'll finish his skills from the companion tomorrow, he's already way past what I'd anticipated for him.

@sea starj Fry/Lusi crosses make excellent dressage horses, although I'd suggest Fry-dominant since Lusis have higher gallop than Frys do.

This is my latest Hanoverian cross. Its the highest speed gp I've gotten. There are twins that I can cross later.
