This thread is here to show off your Retired Coats. This is not the place to post non retired coats. **The two exceptions would be coats that have been pulled (brief discussions) and the pre release coats.

REMEMBER:

******** absolutely no sales talk, no talk about spares or how many extras of a copy you got and selling them to fund your RC habit this is just a place to talk RCs

* although links and graphics are ok on this thread, they are not allowed normally on public forums

* any negative or unkind comments on artists or coats (or anyone!) will be removed, and depending on the case, it might mean an instant forum ban.

* DO NOT use this as a place to sell your horse/coats-if you feel the need to break this rule, it will mean an instant forum ban...

** Sales ads are NOT allowed in any public forums. Asking for spare coats will now be considered a sales ad. This includes stating that you plan to sell a coat, or point out coats for sale in sales.

* Do not use this place as a spot for rants or complaints-About coats/BG/or each other.

* This is not the place to ask players to price your coats, or to ask others the worth of a coat, you can check uses on your own by hovering your mouse over the gray apple and price it from there.

* This is not the place to bring up the subject of stolen images. Keep in mind that the rules of the BP used to be very different, and many old coats are from that time.
There is not any reason to bring that up, or report the coats.

*Please do not do a coat countdown for soon to retire coats.

* Please do not post coats that are currently in the GA and have either not retired, or will never retire.

* Please do not post coat/bg combos or ask opinions on them, except following coat release.

* Some coats may be removed in the future, whether that be for problems with the coats itself or just because they're clearing room on the server to allow other coats to be uploaded - if you're buying retired coats, please keep that in mind. If you want a permanent copy, I would recommend saving the graphic to your computer

* How to discover who many uses a New GC coat will retire-There is now a coat countdown in the GA, and it will show how many have been used and how many uses there are left.

** There is now a new creations directory which shows all coats. Go to Community>>>Directories>>>Creations>>>Click more criteria, and on the left hand side is a gold and silver apple. Click the silver apple and search to see all retired coats.

* To see who created/how many uses/name/or if you have it already of a RC coat, simply click on the silver apple, and it will tell you.

*** Posting links to other player's coats is NOT allowed and can mean a forum ban.

The release is normally after 5 minutes of the release date they have scheduled. I don't know why, but ya.

ughhhhhh, something /was/ wrong this time around. Normally when the release goes, the coats are released at the top, but this time around I had to click for the limited use, to find them. I lost two of them because I didn't immediately realize that factor.

I got all the ones I wanted, I am loving the coats this time! The Pony coat is adorable lol. There are some stunning backgrounds too again, we are so lucky that there are such talented players submitting their creations so we can enjoy them.

The coats will first disappear at the exact time, about 4-5-6 minutes later they appear again and you will be able to pick them.

OK, I don't want to offend anybody, but this is very irritating and I must say it this month - I don't know who you are that kills off horses or re-apply GA on same horses (preventing other players from getting them) to decrease coat copy count, but this is disgusting! 10 mins after release some coats have already dropped 10 copies or more... I feel very sorry for the person(s) you are that could do such thing.

I must say it disapoints me that players kill horses off with the coats or reaply. There are players out there that would buy those coats.

Oh good, someone else noticed, but its a shame Husar now only has 87 copies and three of the other coats have 91-92 copies left. ): I'm sorry for all the people that didn't get a coat and now can't get one at all. Shame on the person(s) who did that.

.... How did all the coats get so low?? O_O Whoever killed them off is a bit extreme. I appreciate it when it's just one to get from 100 to 99 so the trophy counts, but...

'A bit extreme' is honestly an understatement. It's disgusting; Other players couldn't get certain coats because people hoard and then kill. What a waste. I understand there's no rules against it, but It's just wrong.

It may not have effected me but it still bugs me that other players couldn't get the coats they wanted. Even if the lower copies would help me in the sales. But i dont think i've seen it happen this fast ever. default smiley :s

Haven't been feeling well and I guess I slept through my alarm for the release default smiley :(

Really wanted two of the horse coats and the blue and black uni. Ugh. I guess I'll just have that many more GAs for the next release..

Got my hands on the sforcia coat thank goodness. I saw that it already had 91 copies left so I had to grab it before the prices inflate.

Sad how that one Pegasus coat is down to 87

Ugg. Lost vip and missed release in same day..not good
Reading thsee posts above me..it gives me a moments pause as to why I continue to go bankrupt each month to hopefully get to the top of the rankings one day.. I truly enjoy the artwork that is shared in the game and find it sad that some of it is already lost for the sake of a quick buck.. reading this I realize that I wont be able to get the coats released today due to the inflation that will occurr..and players wonder why older players are leaving...

I feel you~
I set my alarm clock for 4:30am (release is at 5am for me).
I woke up. Grabbed my phone. Dropped my phone. Then went back to sleep.
It's the second (or third?) release I've missed in a row. Collecting is a chore sometimes. I feel more disappointment from missing the release than I do happiness from making the release.

Definitely don't apologize PrimeHellix.
I managed to grab one of each if the 100 limited releases I wanted, and was shocked when I checked the numbers just now.

2 of the limited ones I managed to get are both on 91 now, and the prehistoric uni GA is on 92.
It makes me sad in all honesty - that's 26 GA's that other players could have enjoyed to add to their collection, or put on a favorite horse. And for what... getting a trophy... that's just ....

What I really wonder is how on earth somebody would have the resources to do that - unless it's multiple people doing it.

I collect GAs and I'm lucky to get 10 golden apples in a month. I would definitely not waste those GAs by killing off the horses I just put the GAs on. It wouldn't make any sense.

Let's say someone was even just in it for the money, and let's say each 100 use riding horse that they killed was worth two passes each. Ten 100 use riding horses killed would equal 20 lost passes. Now there are 90 uses. Maybe they're worth 3 passes each now. But selling off the others, unless you got at least seven more of those exact coats, would just break you even.

So you'd have to get at least 17 of those coats from the release to make money if you ended up deleting 10, which I don't even know if that's very possible to do.

Doesn't make too much sense to me. default smiley (o)

I believe these people kill horses under 25 who have that coat in order to drop down the numbers, then they slowly bring them back to life over a long period of time so that the numbers rising back up goes unnoticed. Therefor all they lose each time is a Pandora's Box, but still gain profit from selling extra copies. People pay more for lower numbers, not realizing that the number will go back up after the player reviews their other horses.
It's cheating, basically.
