[Info] The Retired Coat Gallery

This thread is here to show off your Retired Coats. This is not the place to post non retired coats. **The two exceptions would be coats that have been pulled (brief discussions) and the pre release coats.

REMEMBER:

******** absolutely no sales talk, no talk about spares or how many extras of a copy you got and selling them to fund your RC habit this is just a place to talk RCs

* although links and graphics are ok on this thread, they are not allowed normally on public forums

* any negative or unkind comments on artists or coats (or anyone!) will be removed, and depending on the case, it might mean an instant forum ban.

* DO NOT use this as a place to sell your horse/coats-if you feel the need to break this rule, it will mean an instant forum ban...

** Sales ads are NOT allowed in any public forums. Asking for spare coats will now be considered a sales ad. This includes stating that you plan to sell a coat, or point out coats for sale in sales.

* Do not use this place as a spot for rants or complaints-About coats/BG/or each other.

* This is not the place to ask players to price your coats, or to ask others the worth of a coat, you can check uses on your own by hovering your mouse over the gray apple and price it from there.

* This is not the place to bring up the subject of stolen images. Keep in mind that the rules of the BP used to be very different, and many old coats are from that time.
There is not any reason to bring that up, or report the coats.

*Please do not do a coat countdown for soon to retire coats.

* Please do not post coats that are currently in the GA and have either not retired, or will never retire.

* Please do not post coat/bg combos or ask opinions on them, except following coat release.

* Some coats may be removed in the future, whether that be for problems with the coats itself or just because they're clearing room on the server to allow other coats to be uploaded - if you're buying retired coats, please keep that in mind. If you want a permanent copy, I would recommend saving the graphic to your computer

* How to discover who many uses a New GC coat will retire-There is now a coat countdown in the GA, and it will show how many have been used and how many uses there are left.

** There is now a new creations directory which shows all coats. Go to Community>>>Directories>>>Creations>>>Click more criteria, and on the left hand side is a gold and silver apple. Click the silver apple and search to see all retired coats.

* To see who created/how many uses/name/or if you have it already of a RC coat, simply click on the silver apple, and it will tell you.

*** Posting links to other player's coats is NOT allowed and can mean a forum ban.

*#*#*#* If players feel the need break the main topic rules, such as sales ads/coat countdowns/spares-you can expect an instant forum ban without any warning prior to it *#*#*#*

No, I don't believe that one is retired. At least not currently as I could click on the coat in that sale and be taken to the golden apple with that coat ready to be put on my horse.
Here's a clickable link to the sale: Sale

IF you check out my Retired horse coats. You will know witch one are so for I have 61 of them so far.
Chanp your howrse has the other indian pony coat and there was at least 3 made. The one we were talking about had a chocolate chip coat with a bright red hand print on its chest.

EVERYONE
click in the picture of a howrse, if you can still buy the coat it is not a True Retired Coat. If it says you cannot buy it then it is a true retired coat.

Use coat numbers as that is easier and have fun.

I have that one in auctions.

I suggest organizing your coats like paint queen has done.

I suggest listing those coats you see that you want. Sometimes you may want a coat you can buy with a GA but do not have passes so ask around as some people will get you that coat for cash.

Check auctions for GA only coats. Do it daily for the next 2 days worth. If you see a howrse in sales or auction try negotiating. Remember that online and real life this is collecting which means there are going to be people with better tools and more money that you at times. Come collectors have networks where when an item is for sale another person buys that item for a friend or lets the friend know the item is available.

DO NOT try to negotiate if the person selling in auctions is not able to do private sales. I was going to offer 5 passes for a howrse until I saw that the seller did not have any karma and was in fact a multi accounter, lol.

Make sure when looking at sales to look at the preview picture to save time. If it is something you do not know about then open up and check it out. I can skim pages and see what is what easily but do stop and open pages.

Know what you have, what you can trade to someone else, and what you can buy in GA market. I almost bought a donkey coat until I checked and it was for sale, lol.

Hello you

I need help :/ I'm searching a coat and I looked through this thread about 12 pages and still haven't found it and I'll hold on searching but maybe I'll get an faster answer if I answer here directly.

It's a coat I saw last year and I haven't found it on the actually golden apple page.
I think it was a white horse (I'm quite sure) and it has the olympic rings and colours, too.

Does anybody know which coat I mean?

I don't want to buy any horse with this coat, I just want to see it again and I would be happy if I could and if anybody could tell me who designed this coat I would be happy as.. I can't tell :]

Please write me a private message if you can help me

Thanks a lot

(Excuse my faults, I'm not english :b )

SpotLover Your link did not work.
Is this the horse your tring to sale

http://www.howrse.com/elevage/fiche/?id=4253339
That is a retired coat and while people liked it it is hard to find in sales. If I needed that coat then I would pay passes or $10,000. It is a strange lion fell in love with a howrse type of coat.

White draft howrse facing left. I bid on it but have it. A bit of a rarity and it is a True Retired Coat.
