Interesting. I'd finish the objectives and after clicking the last one to get my passes for it, it would just refresh the page? Have I been missing out on them the whole time

Did you ever click "use" under the HoP? If you never opened the HoP, it wouldn't give you new objectives the next day, so that would be an indication it wasn't opened.
You can also check your item history to see if it wasn't opened through the objectives. For a HoP objective usage it'll say "Using the Daily Objectives Page".

Or, if you're on mobile it could be a different process of opening the HoP. I don't think I've ever opened my objective HoP on mobile before, so I'm not sure how that displays.

Yeah, I do agree that the daily objectives are much improved now and I'm super excited for the opportunity to gather fragments in this way, too. I hope that this will be purely in addition to fragments through the event.

This doesn't honestly make any sense to me. People complained that the crown wasn't worth the price tag, so you've reduced the price tag and...reduced the value of the item too? Did anyone ever get anything worth the price of the crown anyway as it was?
For me, coming back from this game after a couple of years off, really don't see the value in any of the luck items anymore. You used to get a fair amount of random valuable items but now it's all just worthless shop items and equus. I personally never use luck items for anything other than the chance to win the full fragments for a divine and that's only if I have them in my inventory. They're not worth the passes anymore.

Why are people complaining?? As long as you do your 10 objectives by Sunday, you can still open your HoP on the weekend. You still get your 180 passes for the week, and you can open the HoP by Saturday or Sunday. And you don’t miss out on the HoP if you can’t do an objective (or four)! Not seeing why there’s negativity toward this pretty sweet update. Plus, that reduced Crown price!

I would have preferred keeping the Crown discount rewards, since they go let us get down to a 150 price, as opposed to a permanent 170.
I don't spend passes on the Crown though, so it won't affect me much anyway.

I havent decided on the objectives change yet although it seems okay to me for now..you still get the passes.. you can still exchange an obj you dont like..

However the changes on The TC seem ridiculous.. I agree with Legacy Ann and Eflete...its still a no for me..

That means they have increased the chances of getting some gifts, not reducing the value of the gifts. You are now more likely to get the *better* gifts.

@funnyone is there an official confirmation of that? because they formerly "valued" the contents at 300 passes (when they weren't even worth a HoP imo) and have permanently *decreased* that to 170.

Am I the only one who initially thought that we would be shown all 14 objectives at once and then have the whole week to complete them? I dunno, I just thought that because it would be convenient if one day you didn't do the objectives, but at least we only have to do 10/14 objectives for the HOP, so that gives you 2 free days. Still, if they did it like that, then you could still get the passes if you did the objectives another day.
But either way, this is an improvement, so I'm glad.

^ This is exactly how I read it. They REDUCED the likelihood of rare gifts, not increased, because they decreased the price.

Was this confirmed by players during testing? Nothing in the update indicates this to be a fact.

Yes, on preprod we get both.

It does say in the change log you can continue earning "both passes and fragments"

Agreed, I am not happy about it being set at 170. Why not set it at 150?

I do like the changes to the objectives and the HOP, makes it easier for those who struggled with it. Not liking that it is set to open on Tuesday though.

We can open the horn as soon as we get the 10 points, we don't have to wait until Tuesday

No, I'm in the same boat. I was super excited for this announcement, but now a lot less excited . Agreed that it's still an improvement so you don't lose your HOP and you get fragments (though someone noted it might affect what we get in events... so we'll have to see), but I was also thinking we could do it whenever.

With this, we technically still do have to log in everyday and do the objectives everyday to get the passes, right? The only difference is now the requirement for the HOP is less harsh. Well, I guess it's a small win.

I like the idea of collecting fragments as well as passes from daily objectives.

But I am still confused about the rest of the change regarding the daily objectives.

I just hope I can still get my hop during the weekend in case there is a hop promo.

For the fragments, will there be frags with every objective, or as a reward if you complete all 14?

I read it the same way that Nalu93 read it -- that the chance of the better prizes has been reduced, not increased.

It isn't a major sticking point for me either way, as I don't buy Crowns -- I keep the ones I win in case they run a really good special with them, or in case I get one of those "open a Luck item" objectives (they *are* handy for those) as I don't like to use my HoPs for those.

Still, proper confirmation would be useful to have.

The advantage with the price change for the crown is that it won't cost you more if you want to get the divine as soon as possible, so I am happy about that, just wish it was reduced to 150.
