So that account page..I hate it. Cant we just have the old one? This one stinks! Like seriously! If it aint broke dont fix it!
Do something useful,like in sales put in a bar that you can type a companion to look at or a list of pets. Or add a button to look for divines.

That being said,I love this game and most of the improvements Howrse makes are good. Its been the last few months,starting with the new GA and Helios Ray pages,that things have gone slightly downhill

Is there no BMI history on the new account page or am I missing something? I find it very helpful + I use it frequently so it's seriously frustrating if it's been permanently removed...

You can find it in the black market page or in the store. Pass history has also moved to the page where you buy passes. |

I can understand fixing bugs and such but continuing to change what really does Not need changing is getting annoying and old fast. Not to mention clearly trying to shove the VIP account on everyone.  2 things: 1) The simplified training setting for VIP is in a crazy order. What logic said "let's go stamina-gallop-speed-trot-dressage-jumping"? 2) When I change the simplified training times in my settings, they do not change for my horses. So it appears I have a wasted VIP perk until this is resolved. Not happy, seeing as VIP costs me ~33 passes per day. Oh, and: 3) Would the howrse team PLEASE stop fixing things that aren't broken! We have had several "buggy" development rollouts in the past few months, and for the past few months the players have also been dealing with an absolutely ridiculous lag on the howrse server which renders the game unplayable for up to 12 hours/day. This... so much this.... And I just knew I shouldn’t have logged on today. PLEASE for the love of god stop with all the crippling changes. Why you keep on wanting to change pages that was perfectly SIMPLE, and NON complicated, and turn them into a horrid unorganized click fest from hell.....I lack words. With each change I’m pusched closer and closer towards leaving, like so many before me. If that’s the plan, keep them comming

What the heck is going on with the Simplified training / rides settings on the new My Accounts page? My original settings were wiped out. I can't get them to change back to the way they were. As others have said - it's a wasted VIP perk now and I had just changed mine a few days ago so I can't get rid of it. STOP making unnecessary changes to the game!

It was possible to get the Falabella in this most recent promotion for free, as well as the reindeer around Christmas time. Other than that, I'd recommend skipping the objective/saving passes and hoarding luck items until you're able to afford to really go for a divine you really want. Then you won't have to worry about the promotion anymore. The reach XXX age objective wasn't changed/removed, by the way, simply re-worded for clarity. I personally don't think they should change/remove any of the daily objectives...while there are plenty that I personally find to be annoying/not worth it and will automatically skip, that's just how it is...they never said that everybody would be able to complete every single objective every single day. It's just a part of the game now as opposed to the past feature of aging up pass horses to kill for up to 1,000 (guaranteed)/3,000 (possible) passes per month. People complained about that, too, saying that people who had lots of time on their hands/hoards of AP/MA/tons of horses around that age already had an "unfair" advantage.

I mean, it's definitely an option, and it's definitely a very good option...I hate playing as a non-VIP because I've become accustomed to auto-feed/auto-comp plus I need the uni perk...I'm currently non-VIP as I'm not playing very actively/can't justify paying for something I'm not really using regularly. But they don't really push it on you... Here's an idea that, if used, might satisfy many players if not all of them... Allow a "skip" for Daily Objectives the way we have a "skip" for voting on new coats and backdrops. When we vote on creations, we have 50 votes per day and can "skip" three times. What if Daily Objectives allowed 1-2 "skips" per week? You get one you don't like or want to do, you click "skip" and get a new one. If Daily Objectives allowed 1-2 "skips" per week, maybe that would allow people who really hate removing wings and horns and WoYs to still have a chance (though not a guarantee) to complete the week and get the HOP. This also would help out newer players with ones like the "get the color bonus" ones, which some of them might be able to do easily, and others not so much. At the same time, a maximum of two "skips" per week would not (hopefully) make it "too easy" to complete the week's objectives, since they should be at least a little bit of a challenge and not a "given". Of course, there would still be the chance of seeing the skipped objective pop up again later in the week, but that comes down to using "skips" wisely, not totally unlike using them in voting for creations. It's a thought. It still wouldn't make Daily Objectives so easy that they'd just be a "given". Now this idea I do like.  I'm sure it wouldn't stop the complaints about de-winging/de-horning/removing WOY, but at least there'd be another option.

This may be an old change that i'm just now noticing but i feel it fits with the theme of the unnecessary changes being made, and i haven't been able to find it mentioned elsewhere. Can anyone tell me why the Gypsy Vanner is now called simply Vanner? And are any other breed's names now altered as well? If so, any ideas why? One of my favorite sayings is if it ain't broke, don't fix it!

The name was very much broke in my opinion so glad it was changed.

I've not been real attentive to game lately. I'm wondering if Howrse is working on the graphics for horses. When I go into my farms the little icons of my horses are alittle fuzzy, but the saddle and other amenities are nice and crisp. Also, horses with GAs and the divine icons are crisp and clear.
Is it because they added saddles to the regular horse icons? Are they going to clear them up?

Really Howrse? What was the *point* behind forcing avatars to be circles? I literally have never heard *anyone* complain about the avatars. Now, everyone I have talked to is complaining about this change. It is absolutely pointless and infuriating all around.

Oh no, my Avatar was VERY purposefully square, and it's been so since 2008, the very same avatar.
Why change it?

Please change them back as soon as possible, I don’t understand the need for this.
In addition there are huge gaps either side of team emblems that look very strange, I don’t understand why this was added either? Please add every change you make to the log in future, especially major changes like this which will upset a lot of people. |
Yeah, I have to agree. I hate those round avatars. Like the least you can do is to give us an option to change them back to square or keep them as round. Why do you have to keep doing these changes and then say nothing about them? Can we even trust you guys with informing us about these new updates, if you keep not telling us about all of them?

I have to agree. I don't really like the round avatars. It cuts off many people's avatars as it used to be squared. Could you please change it back asap. Also, when I'm hovering over my account, or when I'm writing messages in forums, my avatar just disappears. COuld you also help fix that? Thanks!
