okay, so neither of you are actually playing the game in portrait mode, you're just rotating your phones to be also in landscape mode so the text looks larger, or holding your phone normally and the site being microscopic (what I'm currently doing), neither of which is an actual portrait mode, which is the entire issue. please explain better next time, I was hoping I would finally be able to play the game again without getting migraines :\

That's why I said you can't go back to the old mobile version, but you can rotate to hold it in a portrait format. The new app forces landscape view, so when I read "portrait mode" I thought you just meant the ability to view it in portrait format. Apologies for my confusion

In previous Rides game you would progress forward in an up and down way. We just tested this promo and you now go forward from left to right.

While I love the idea of packs, I only use the dial when I'm skilling and those horses have nyx packs so not quite sure who would want that pack on a horse with arms or nothing at all?

I'm really happy about the new ow's rays, I always loved the backgrounds for wilds

These are SO time-intensive, they need to be spaced out more. And it will come RIGHT as an Ascent season ends . I HAVE to slog through enough rounds of Ascent so that my divines can continue dropping Obols and Drachmas during the “off season”. So I will go from one slog to another almost immediately

There should be at LEAST 3 whole months between seasons of Ephemeral.

Ugh, more Ephemerals... they're WAY too sloggy to be any fun back to back to back. Luckily Lusitanos aren't a breed I care for very much so I can skip/do the bare minimum but I wish there'd be more of a break between them.

They could, you know, fix the broken parts of the game we’ve been complaining about for years. But those things are too hard for them. So instead we get a new broken app, a new broken header, rotate mini game 90°, we lose the charming Old Internet look of the game, etc. etc.

Feedback regarding the new carousel on desktop: when the carousel is expanded, we should be able to collapse it again by clicking any area outside the carousel menu, not just the little arrow at the top.

How about you ask the community HERE on YOUR WEBSITE to vote on things, and NOT on Discord, hmm?

I miss portrait mode I finally y finish an event the ride event only on international. This game I can't rename horses on my smaller iPhone se phone. I have new android pixel 8 pro. You need a bigger phone to play it. It gives me less headaches on a bigger phone. My iPhone 11 is really glitchy one weekend it decided it would force dark mode on the game and other problems. The screen on iPhone 11 is almost big enough for new version but thats mostly YouTube phone. The iPhone se only wants to be on portrait mode I guess. Wishes update came out with epheramerals since I would've had to play with them on landscape on.

I agree with this 100%. The devs should be asking these questions here. It makes us, who can not get onto the discord, since it is too confusing to figure out, left out of any way of giving them ideas. Hope that makes sense. These forums should be the first place, since this is where most of the player base is.

meanwhile there are things wrong with the game that annoy players on a daily basis, like the halfway measure they took fixing the header change they forced on us recently that proved they don't listen to a thing we say here or the completely pointless changes to these very forums which only succeeded in making things so much more confusing & make the game harder to play,

let's not forget the changes to luck item offers, almost completely stop HOP offers (from one roughly every second weekend to only ONE in the last 5-6 weeks) & bombard us with fleece & challenge offers all week instead, something that costs way more & pays out way less

What better way to skew poll results than to post the poll somewhere a large portion of your player base DOESN'T USE. Stop penalizing and silencing players who don't or can't use Discord.

It's all very nice that people on Discord are getting involved with Howrse, but what about the people on Howrse? You have forums and threads and polls here, on the game. Use them - don't slither off to some other unconnected app that half the people here don't have, don't want to use, or can't use.

Yeah, it was a positive change this time, but still. What about fixing the broken ad at the top of the page? How long has it been non-functional but still sitting up there, flashing, pretending that it's still offering prizes until you actually go to the page?

What about our trophies?
