Also I actually liked the way the safe haven was and I used it quite often. But now that it only gives you 500 equus per horse, I'm not planning on using it at all. So congrats, your remedy had the opposite effect.
They increased the payout for regular horses. It wasn't decreaseddefault smiley :)
It used to be 400e per regular horse, and now it's 500. Unicorns and fails still offer 2000e.

Well I've gotten 2000 and 4000 equus for horses from the safe haven so.....

Safe Haven should at least cover the max cost of the vet fees. that being 2500, otherwise you're at a loss if you Safe Haven a horse you bred when you have more than 40000 in your reserve. In fact, I feel that vet fees should go back to being the same for everyone, as how is it fair that I pay 2250/2500 (lower amount with divine) per breeding, while someone with, say, 20000, only has to pay 300? The entire reason I stopped having a high reserve until just recently was because the game pretty much penalizes you if you have more. I personally feel it should go back to being 500 per covering, regardless of the amount of equus someone has.

What’s the point of being able to remove affixes from horses bred by other players?

Affixes are basically a way to mark a horse as being bred by a specific breeder. The new feature kind of defeats the purpose of affixes.

2,000 has been possible for horses and ponies born to two unicorn parents, but 4,000 has never been possible. If it was, it had to have been a bug. I don't recall any events that have temporarily offered 4000.

400 used to be the base price for regular horses and ponies.

You get 2000 for horses that were born to Unicorn parents but were not unicorns. You have never gotten 4000 for putting anything into the Safe Haven.

Howrse really just moved the location and increased the price by 100e and called it a day huh...

The location was never the reason people have stopped using it- it's just that now the price offered is so far below market value (~3k e for a basic foal nowadays) that it's insulting and just not worth it. If they want people to actually use it to clear up space then they should offer a decent price.

It's only available for your team horses, from what I understand. Not others.

I saw a few players on the previous page said the way it displayed almost made it look like the affix could be removed from other horses, but when you actually tried it it didn't work.

After testing this feature, it doesn't actually work. It seems that there may just be a coding error of some sorts that allows you to select '...' but it does not actually remove the affix.

On another note, does anyone know what the point is of embryo foals under team affixes? Seems like a lot of pointless coding/clutter to me since those foals are not actively in the game nor were they ever.

You must have been misreading the 400e as 4000e then. It was always 400e for normal horses and 2000e for those with unicorn parents.

Really hate that Safe Haven has been put with the sales, before it was nicely separate, now there is potential for accidentally picking that option while in the zone during mass selling horses (due to just quickly clicking through the motions without really double checking).

Not sure what exactly makes this more accessible, it has always been easily accessible, the reason no one uses it is because the payout isn't worth it in the slightest. These changes aren't improving the option to be honest, it's still just a bad alternative to simply selling the horses in directs.

Can you screenshot what you mean? I don't see anything under my team affix with my mare currently pregnant.

They're foals of the wrong next gender that were never birthed out into the game, if that makes sense

Definitely a useless feature no one asked for. Wish howrse would listen more regarding features players actually want. Why would anyone sell to the SH when you can get at least 4 times the price you sell to SH for? This feature is definitely pointless

Have to say though, it's hilarious being locked out from selling horses on a personal team I made to mainly show off my coat combos, which I applied the limit to so I don't have to bother with affixing. default smiley (lol)

Absolutely!

Okay, so I sent a message off to contact asking when are they fixing the Croesus Fortune since they promised to fix it by the next update. Well the next update is here and it's not fixed.

I'm so tired of them ignoring what is important to their players and doing ridiculous fixes as the above one mentioned, which is not a fix....

I'm so annoyed by the update to the safe haven. I know exactly how to sell a horse to the safe haven if I want to. I don't sell my horses there because I can always make at least a little extra equus in direct sales. Plus I'm part of teams. I already have to be extra careful when selling a team horse so that I don't accidentally put it in the wrong kind of sales or make sure I'm selling for myself or my team. The last thing I wanted was to have to be more careful when I'm putting a horse up for sale.

As long as there is still a daily objective to sell to SH then it is not useless.

The idea that anyone on a team can pick up a "loaned" horse is horrible. People are loaning horses for a specific reason and now you have just made it harder for the right person to get the horse default smiley :@.

While I do not use the Safe Haven very often and probably won't use it any more frequently, I can see that it makes sense to have this option located with the other sales options. I wish that the name of the Direct Sales be changed. Direct Sales implies that the horse is being sold directly to a named individual (Howrse has designated as Reserved Sales) rather than to the public Howrse community . If you are in a hurry/tired, your mind can trick you into thinking that you're selling directly to a named individual instead of selling to any other player.

Not a huge fan of the Safe Haven change, rated it a 1 out of 5 stars...I can't even imagine how many new players (possibly even experienced ones) will make a mistake and sell their horse for almost nothing default smiley :s

I really like the team changes. This has been a long time coming. One of the teams I was on in the past was "burned" many times by players leaving with our top horses and creating a new team or selling them.

I doubt the changes to the safe haven are actually going to be useful unless it is an objective for someone. If you want people to use it the price needs to be increased to more than the sales minimum. Currently, the minimum horses are selling for is 2,500 which is 5 times the amount which is being offered for the safe haven.
Overall I see this change as pointless and perhaps slightly inconvenient.

eh, it was easy to put a horse in the SH - just go to the horse and "sell" to the safe haven default smiley (lol) Moving the location wasn't the issue. It was just not worth the effort for so little equus. I only use it for the achievements now and only use a uni fail to make it worth it.

Just noticed a huge issue. The ability to loan to a specific player is removed. This is incredibly unfair. I have the tears privilege and team mates have my permission to loan mares for tear breeding. I'm the only member in my time zone so they do it when I'm sleeping. Am I supposed to stay awake 24 hours in order for team members to take advantage???

Please please please give us back the option to loan to a specific player.

The recipient just has to go get it. Cant see a problem with this unless someone else picks it up first
