No, this isn't the last update, there are always more updates. And if you look at the timeline at the bottom, you'll see what's next to come.

In the tests I always went for the next level because if you choose to accept the prizes you could potentially have stopped prematurely on a TC that was going to go all the way to level 8. Since the chance of reaching that level is already really low you could be skewing the data significantly.


I'm thinking about if the odds changed.. Because a friend of mine always went for level 8 (on her real account) and she estimated that every ~50 tries led to level 8, which is exactly what you got as well. I opened I think 200 challenges a while ago (last time the swedish one was open, which was.. I think just before the magic ride) on the pre prod and wrote up the results. I'll go and see if I can find the paper and I'll write out the results I got if you want default smiley :p

I'm annoyed by everything default smiley xd but yes, for blupping purposes, it's going to be incredibly annoying having to get used to not using them for extra energy etc.

Sigh, I wish they'd listen to us and leave it be. None of these changes are beneficial or necessary. After everyone spent loads of time and money trying to get 12 bonus and hey, guess what? They have to spend more time and money trying to get their EC bonus to top again. There comes a point where people will just get sick of this and eventually stop spilling their time and money into getting a top EC, especially when they keep modifying the ECs.

I rate these changes 0/10 and I'm not looking forward to them. Customer service also gets a 0/10 for their lack of listening to the players. I'm sorry, but I'm dreading these changes.

I suppose for those wanting a top EC the changes aren't very good, but for me it allows me to get showers and 3* boxes without passes so I'm happy. Furthermore are the employees necessary for a 60+ EC? I agree thatvthevprice is way too high for those who want them all- only to get them for 30 days.

Your horses will still be getting free fodder if their EC has good meadows default smiley :)

No, they are not. Lesson / mission price is based on the skills of the boarders, as always.

The employees are just bonuses. They are not required. Those competing at rosette and Grand Prix level will want the Vet's bonus, that's about it.

I have given up on my EC, I was doing really good with it until theses changes, Now there is no hope for it, because I have basicly just lost all interest in it. It will be what it is clean, and workable.

My biggest dislike is crafting mashes, and manure, It will take me for ever to make mashes, until I can afford a bigger workshop,

And the meadows and boxes I would rather keep also.

Drafts will not be here until May. They are breeds just like any other one. They will no doubt be rapidly zoomed to the top of the GP tables because they gain more skills and more EC resources than do all other horses. Each draft can only breed three times in its life. There will be 2 different draft breeds, and only Ow knows what they are. There are no pictures yet.

Repair costs...

... for boxes will be higher than they are now, so repair all of your boxes by Sunday night. That will reduce the cost of your first post-updates repair bill, and give you more time to build up the resources you will need default smiley :)


Cows...

... cannot be bred. You put them in a meadow for 30 days and then 'harvest' the leather. Then you have to buy new cows if you want to produce more leather. But if your EC is a western EC, rather than a classical EC, then you will get leather every time your cutting competitions cows are replaced.

So, after reading back quite a few pages, I am still not sure what I should bulk up on before the change. Can the people actually testing give me some idea? Should I make sure I have lots of flax? fodder? showers? Things like that. I was left flat footed last time, having just done a major sell off of stuff. lol Thank you.

I personally just use my ec for my aging point horses to save on boarding costs. Is kinda sad as it was one a proud 58e center I used for training and skilling. Well roll on changes I guess.

I really can't wait for the updates. I played in 2013 or so, and the EC's were harder to manage (in my opinion). The workshop sounds amazing, I can't wait for tomorrow! Its so close.

I just got used to the new EC changes (I'm STILL trying to figure things out) and now there are more changes that seem even more confusing.

I'm really confused on the cows thing. I'm really excited that you can raise cows but I don't really want to kill them for leather. Is there a way you can raise cows but not kill them for the leather? Also what does the leather do?

I'm also really confused on the whole workshop thing. I am glad that we will be able to build greenhouses and 3* boxes, but I have a feeling that it will end up costing more money than just going to the store.

I never really used the meadows or the boxes so I don't really mind loosing those, but I know lots of people used them and enjoyed them.

With the TC's, is there one specific percentage or chance of getting to certain levels?

As I see that other people have different percentages.

No offense to howrse, but I had stopped playing a few years ago for this exact reason. They happen to be changing the(many) roots of howrse that were perfect and great aspects of howrse. It makes things confusing and aggravating, especially when I enjoyed those features. I plan to stay on howrse for good now and eventually I will get used to the update, but really, I could have gone without many things changed. But I know Owlient is trying their very best for thinking and creating these updates and I thank them for being active and producing these updates, unlike many site producers. ...as posted many times, are not coming until May. There will be 2 different breeds and only Ow knows what they are. There are no pictures yet. They will be just like any other breed with the exception that they gain more skills and resources than other breeds do, and they can only breed 3 times in their whole life. No doubt the elite teams will zoom them to the top of the GP board quickly.
