Ok so lessons are based on the top skill of the breed. At first I thought only the best horse in the Ec would count, but a mod told us no.

So let's assume I have 2 TB's one has lets say 1200 skills in gallop, but the second only has 200.
The first will up the lessons, and the second will lower the lessons.

I have 79.79% prestige on prepod, and it actually went up compared to the days before. That does not make sense. That should only have happened had I seriously worked some horses, and I did not. I only worked like 5 and I didn't even do lessons. I did not touch any horses that was already blupped.

ugh never mind this.
I'll just do the opposite of what was her name ah yes the French Queen Marie Antoinette that told her staff to give the crows cookies because they were famished....namely offer the hole nine yeard to my boarders minus 55+ lessons...so there default smiley :-))

Waiii

So if I have the top trahkener on the game, and 50 divines, would that mean I have optimal prestige..? (cough trahkes are the lowest GP breed I believe)
I thought lessons (boarder's prestige) will be based on the best skill on the site, for each of the six skills, not the best skill for each breed.

So my Hackney's trot skill will be compared to the top trot skill in the game, which is currently a Tennessee Walker.

It's called the Seal of Apocolypse and they are testing it on the test server right now so it will release soon for 2 passes in the black market. It's sort of like a fifth element or bewitched pumpkin. You can give it to a horse and it can become one of four different new coats- with a halloween theme.

There is Death, War, Famine, and Plague. There are pictures of what these coats look like on previous pages and the different perks of each coat as well.

Does anybody know what the next promo will be.?
Also what will be the next divine horses in our reserves, I think a while back I heard it was the water divines, but I may be wrong.

I rather know ahead of time to "stock up" on passes, pass horses, etc.

I have got this from the UK Server. MAJOR spoiler!!
Click to display
I have received this info from the UK spoiler zone...

The seal of the apocalypse! This items costs two passes, the horse gets an apocalyptic coat, and +5 in all skills as well as, depending on the coat:
WAR

+3 in all skills
FAMINE

the horse doesn't lose health from being too skinny
DEATH

the health status doesn't affect competitions, rides, training anymore
PLAGUE

The first five foals of this horse have a chance of inheriting this Seal of the Apocalypse feature.

*This item may only be given to horses 1 years and 6 months of age.
"A horse wearing a golden apple loses the GA if given the Seal of the Apocalypse.

Hello!
Does anyone have any info on the next mini-game?
Retired breeder wrote:

If you have the best possible prestige in the others required then yes you should hold 60e lessons.
Click to display
On prepod a user has 60 boxes - 2 of them Lus skillers the rest divine. That gave 59e lessons yesterday.

Several still hold top e lessons with one fully blupped skiller, the rest divine. Some hold the same with more than on fully blupped skiller and several divine.

From what we can read in the Ec change topic, it will take 100 boxes to get 60e lessons + of course high skilles horses. And that is visible on prepod as well.

So you need
100 boxes
100 showers
At least 50% must be boarded

Fodder
- Fodder: min 150 pr box - 26700 - for prestige boost 53400
- Oat: min 75 pr box - 13350 - for prestige boost 26700
- Carrots: min 15 pr box - 2670 - for prestige boost 5340
- Mash: min 15 pr box - 2670 - for prestige boost 5340

- Tack for all boxes

Meadows
At least 1 hectar per horse
High fertile meadows

High GP horses
The top skill for every horse (minus Divines) boarded at an EC is calculated for Boarder's Prestige.
Them being compared breed by breed.

High level competitions that run frequently

I checked my EC on prepod. After I boarded the 4 skillers my lessons went up 1 from 43 to 44. Looks like I will not be bothering much about lessons once we get the update.
Makes me kinda depressed took me a very long while to get a good EC.
I did maintain 58-59e lessons when I was into the hole GP race. Once that bored me I was happy to have 55-56e lessons. Now it looks like I'll have to settle to be in the 40'es default smiley :@

I'm so confused default smiley :(
On the upcoming updates timline it says that:

Lessons are no longer taken into account in general prestige. Lesson pricing directly depends on boarders' prestige.

Why would all the other stuff matter? Could you be so kind to start a discussion on the test server about this?

I've been having 60e lessons for months now (other server), but I only have 70 boxes (+showers) and there's no way I can afford to buy 30 of both now. I think I'll just close my EC if my lessons drop to 40 or something. Or keep it just to harvest some crops for equus.
Asfridur, it states quite clearly in the blog that lesson price and skill gain is based on the boarder's prestige (that is, the best skill of each of non-divine boarded compared to the top ranked horse in that skill on the game, irrespective of breed). Nothing else.

So where is this belief that 100 boxes and showers will be needed for 60e lessons coming from? That might be needed to get a better EC competition bonus for boarded horses, but not for lessons, unless whoever wrote the blog has made a major mistake.

I've held 60e lessons on preprod since it opened just by having an unclouded kwpn skiller in it, haven't even touched the ec or tried improving it and I have less than 50 boxes

Thank you! That's reassuring default smiley (a)
I give up default smiley (lol)
It's very hard to explain.

Once we're all working the new EC tweaks we'll just have to wait and see what impact we all will have thrown at us.

I wish I could just cancel all boarders on prepod except the 4 skillers I bough and hold some divine. But I cannot since I have friends horses there also.
But what the heck let me cancel what I can and then I'll tell you what happens come update tomorrow.

Let's see if that brings my lessons up to 60e.

I'm just going to copy past the entire explanation from prepod

The comfort rating

An important element of equestrian centres’ prestige is the comfort rating. It takes into account the various elements that can provide comfort to a horse and the make your EC an enjoyable place to live for your boarders.

Here is the constrained list:

• The size of the boxes
• The quality of the bedding
• The presence of improvements in each box ; for the moment the only one is the shower.

• The availability of food for your boarders:
- Fodder
- Oats
- Carrots
- Mashes

• The availability of tack for your boarders, as well as it’s quality.
- Saddles
- Bridles
- Saddle pads
- Polo wraps
- Bonnet

This tack has to be bought in the Equestrian centre store for the moment. Later you will be able to produce it in your equestrian centre.

The Prestige

The global prestige of the equestrian centre depends on various sub-prestige ratings.

• The comfort rating.

• Meadow prestige which groups:
- Meadow fertility
- Meadow size

• The equestrian centre’s capacity prestige:
- The number of boxes, with an optimum amount of 100.
- The occupancy level, with an optimum amount of 50% occupied boxes. An occupied box is a box that contains a horse at the moment of the daily update.

• The boarder prestige that is based on the level of each horse’s best skill compared to the best horse on the game in that specific skill.

• The prestige of the equestrian centres’ competitions that depends on the skill level of the horses that register in your competitions.

Divine horses count for the occupancy level for the boxes; however they don’t count for the boarder’s prestige.

The prestige for lessons disappears. From now on the prices of lessons and the skill gains they offer depend directly on the boarder’s prestige. The total prestige of the equestrian centre doesn’t count for them any longer.

Asfridur wrote:

It means you don't need to be worrying about boxes etc. for lesson gain (well, once you have the space for skillers to make up for the lower skilled horses).
I'm not meaning to have a go at you, it would just be nice if it meant you could take things easier and just slowly build back up EC prestige for other less urgent reasons than skill gain from lessons (unless you /need/ to maintain a particular place in the rankings or depend on EC bonus in comps). I'd hate to think you and others were stressing for no reason.
Not sure I'm making sense here default smiley :s

Fingers crossed your new skillers do the job for you next update.

Back to more spoiler-y business: anyone care to speculate on the next GC divine?

Considering the constant "out of stock" messages on the 3* boxes and showers, methinks a bunch of folks are trying to get ready for the change, heh.

Myself, I am going to hold tight at 50 boxes and see how I do.

Thanks sleepingrose default smiley (l)

Just for the heck of it I have canceled 67 horses on prepod. Have 71 regular and 41 divines boarded.
Some blupped some not. And I've bought 7 horses with very nice skills in their field.
Leaving 67 vacant boxes.

I'll check to see if there is a difference and that's it. I'll just let the impact hit me, and it will....and harshly so.

But enough is enough. It's a game. Meant to be fun. I'll just slowly adjust. Or I might decide to ignore the lesson part entirely.

Half the people are going crazy. They are buying boxes and running around trying to figure out every last detail so that they hold 60e lessons with the update.

The other half is also freaking out. They are looking at everything, proclaiming it to be impossible, and then shutting down their EC's. I've had soooo many of the ec's I've had my horses in just plummet.

Then there's me, who takes one look at everybody and just sits down to wait.

A lot of my AP farm horses loose their bedding everyday.and when I put them back they are boxless next day.
Sigh.

A friend of mine is taking care of my EC for me so I let her handle this.No idea HOW I will be able to afford 3* boxes AND showers...reserve will be merged but it would be nice If I didnt have to spend all my money on ec updates. I have horses to feed -.-"

Breaking News...default smiley (lol)

The next phase

Deployment is scheduled for mid November.
Equestrian center and breeder inventories and reserves have been merged

The equestrian center reserve is added to the breeder's reserve.
Equestrian center and breeder inventories are merged: duplicate items are stacked.
Equestrian center and breeder stores are merged.
It is no longer possible to delete an equestrian center without deleting or resetting your account.
The equestrian center wealth ranking no longer serves a purpose and will be replaced by something else.

Browsing changes

A Trade menu has been added. It will contain horse sales, the store...
The Profile menu is removed. The information it contained has been transferred to other menus.
The Rankings menu is now called Accomplishments. It also shows the trophies you won.

Boarding registration

Your horse must be boarded in order to perform actions with it.
Unless it has a Hypnos' Blanket.

Mountains, beaches and forests have been added

You will have 30 days to pick a location for your equestrian center: mountain, beach or forest.
You will have the option of changing your mind and picking a new location with the next update. The location will then be final.

Ride changes

Existing rides are replaced with mountain and forest rides.
These rides will increase three complementary skills. Speed, Gallop and Trot for forest rides - Stamina, Dressage and Jumping for mountain rides.
Short and long rides are removed. You can ride for 30 minutes in the mountains and improve stamina, or ride for 2 hours in the forest and improve speed. Both types of ride will consume the same amount of energy.
Beach rides still allow you to transfer skill points from one skill to another. You can pick skills for each horse.
If a horse is on a ride in the area where its equestrian center is located, it will earn or trade skills points twice as fast.

Competitions page overhaul

More data is visible on the competitions home page, such as: difficulty level, rosettes if they are enabled, the number of times a contest has been run...
The Manage button will allow you to edit the parameters of each competition.
Getting replacement calves for cutting is now automated for everybody.

What's next...

Here is an overview of what we are planning next.
We will provide further details on each feature as the release date approaches.

Your equestrian center's location defines the main resource you can gather: Sand (beach), Iron (mountain), Wood (forest)
Production cycles are added to allow harvesting, item crafting and item selling.
You can breed cows to produce leather.
Item crafting is now handled via workshops
You can now add improvements to existing infrastructures in order to improve their quality or performance.
Lessons are now called missions. Missions are an opportunity for horses to earn skills, for the horse owner to earn Equus, and for the equestrian center to earn resources.
A tutorial is available upon creating an equestrian center.
Workhorses are added to the game
Complete overhaul of the Secret Market
And possibly other features that will come along the way

And in regards to some of the other things you mentioned;

Something tells me the cows we can breed for leather will be more like a crop than something we can actually care for (like calves for the Western ECs). Though I am majorly hoping that Work Horses are real horses we can care for that will offer some benefit for the EC (like the Geyser Divine)
