1 turnip would be turned into 10 fodder, worth 1e a piece.
Then, if you'd sell 10 turnips before the update, you'd get 250e, and if you sell them after the update, when the 10 turnips changed into 100 fodder, you'd get 100e. So than it would make sense and be profitable to sell the turnips before the change.
But, 1 turnip turns into 25 fodder, meaning that it doesn't matter at all whether you sell the turnips before the change or after the change, as 1 turnip equals 25 fodder equals 25e.

Food change is the next update. Equus merge will likely be the update after that. It's not in this preprod.

I'm growing turnips so my EC will have fodder right away. They are not worth it to grow to resell.

Right. That will likely be the next update, for my best guess. It's not in this current prepod.

Yes to the 2nd, but the first will not happen with this coming update, unless they change it from what's currently in preprod.

Here's a little bit of info of what's going on at the moment. (I posted this on the US server)

Things we *are* testing at the moment.

Removal of infertile meadows, removal of turnips, removal of flax (not flax bedding), change of mash, addition of alfalfa, carrot with +8 energy, buying fodder/oats from the store, Unicorn teams, team ranking changes, slight changes to the starting tutorial, removal of cleanliness in meadows.


Things we are *not* testing at the moment.

Draft horses, locations for your EC, merge of reserves, merge of inventories, missions instead of lessons, etc.

Why on earth do we need a flax seed to produce a mash.
Only reason to add a seed, is to make sure EC owners buy flax seeds, since not all actually use flax for bedding

The flax crop is leaving. The bedding is staying, so you'll still need to grow flax.

Your EC reserve and breeder reserve (money) will merge along with your inventories. This won't be happening with this update though.

we still need to grow flax if we want flax bedding for the boxes.
We no longer need flax to produce a mash though...now we need 1 flax seed for each mash in stead

At a later game update the EC and the player E will be merged into one.

The thought alone still gives me ticks default smiley (lol)
I wonder how difficult it will be to juggle. Overspend buying horses, tack, covers etc etc, and you won't be able to buy the items you need to run your EC.
But we'll have to wait and see what happens.

I don't see how the EC and breeder reserve merge will work. It's either you focus on your horses and have no money for your EC or vice-versa.That update would be a total train wreck.

Luckily,I have no interest in my EC what so ever,so I am just going to get extra breeding money.default smiley :)

Exactly. That's why so many people are opposed to the idea (including myself). I know most people would be happy if we could transfer money between the reserves instead.
