Click to display So, about the hike event... this will be my first hike and I have no clue. :') Will you be able to get the Divine horse at the end of the normal hike? Or do you have to enter the portal? Will it be doable without buying things with passes? I couldn't tell from Nalu93's post...

Or do you have to enter the portal? Will it be doable without buying things with passes? I couldn't tell from Nalu93's post... Click to display The hike (general trail) should be, with some luck, completely free, so you should go home with Slongvir. HOWEVER, on Christmas day new Secret trails will open up, so you'll have to decide if you want to go for another Divine or Slongvir. Merry Christmas is NOT free, unless the Secret Trails have fragments.

@Nalu93 Ah okay, thankyou!
Click to display That could be my very first divine then! Very excited

Re Secret Santa: in previous years it has NOT been anonymous.
You were asked to give a present without being told who it's going to. But when it was delivered the person who got it was told who it was from.

Re Secret Santa: in previous years it has NOT been anonymous. You were asked to give a present without being told who it's going to. But when it was delivered the person who got it was told who it was from. Okay I thought that was how it worked! Now I'm excited..Perusing my BMI's to see what I should give

So with the Reindeer... I took a leave from the game during December last year and missed the latest editions to the reindeer herd. (And NOW there is a trophy ) Any chance we know if/which/all might be available this year? I REALLY want them all... they are so precious!
|
OK, I'm very confused. Is the event going to be the hike or that Merge thing?
|
I think that the only Reindeer that will be offered, according to the info for the hike event if that is the one the will happen, will be Donner and Prancer.

Click to display So, does the divine portal only open at midnight, then it's gone, you can't go through it anymore in the daytime on the 25th?

Click to display So, does the divine portal only open at midnight, then it's gone, you can't go through it anymore in the daytime on the 25th? Click to display I believe you can enter it at anytime, but we had literally no details on Prepod.

Click to display So, does the divine portal only open at midnight, then it's gone, you can't go through it anymore in the daytime on the 25th? If it is like last year's maze with the divine portal, once it opens, it should stay open until the event is over. |
Click to display The new divine Yuki is kind of disappointing tbh. The divines with the pets are not interesting or really appealing to me. The horse is beautiful and I would really want it but the special power just doesn't appeal to me.

Click to display Time needed for each type: - 8 hours for level 1 - 6 hours for level 2 - 4 hours for level 3 Total duration of event: ~18 days = ~432 hours We should get: - 54 level 1 - 72 level 2 - 108 level 3 Which is equivalent to 630 level 1, given that: 1 level 1 = 1 level 1 1 level 2 = 2 level 1 1 level 3 = 4 level 1 1 level 4 = 8 level 1 1 level 5 = 16 level 1 1 level 6 = 32 level 1 1 level 7 = 64 level 1 1 level 8 = 128 level 1 Did some counting Click to display But, i think bc it won't go from midnight to midnight it'll be 17 day's worth of hours, so you'll get 408 hours, so: level 1: 51 level 2: 68 level 3: 102 Also, 1 level 2 = 1 level 2 1 level 3 = 2 level 2 1 level 4 = 4 level 2 1 level 5 = 8 level 2 1 level 6 = 16 level 2 1 level 7 = 32 level 2 1 level 8 = 64 level 2 and 1 level 3 = 1 level 3 1 level 4 = 2 level 3 1 level 5 = 4 level 3 1 level 6 = 8 level 3 1 level 7 = 16 level 3 1 level 8 = 32 level 3 Overall if you want level 8 items, you can get 4, and still have 16 level 2 and 51 level 1 If you're going for level 7 items you can get 8 and still have 16 level 2 and 51 level 1-s Im not sure why i counted, but i hope it helps someone. If you want to get hops, you can get 8, and some low level stuff Same with Aphrodite's tears, but with more low levels But those are what im interested in so idk if anyone wants me to count somehing for them i have the time

(24 frags per item) Click to display Notes: -Merry Christmas will drop a random item (from his list of drops) on the 25th of each month from January to November. On the 25th of December, he will always drop 200p. -You can get a 2× fragment bonus from playing the promo. -It is unknown whether you can find Merry Christmas fragments through the portal. The portal was not tested during the testing session. And this sheet does not consider any potential fragments that might be found in the portal. The event: Click to display -You get 5 tokens for logging in and 5 more for logging in daily for 5 days straight. That’s 30 tokens weekly or a minimum of 150 total free tokens from logging in. However, it’s not enough tokens to complete the promo for free. -You can also get tokens through event objectives, but these objectives involve using up your tokens and using certain cards. This means that you cannot save up your tokens. Also, these objectives are not always free to complete. Some of them require you to use up 8 tokens and yet you only get 5 daily. If you have bad luck then you will end up switching lanes/not find tokens on the board and you will need to spend passes to complete it. It’s the same with the card objective- in order to complete it, you may need to stumble across the obstacle that allows you to use the card or else you can’t complete the objective. In summary, the chances of you getting all your “free" daily tokens for free is very low. -You can also find tokens scattered across the board. -You can find tokens in the advent calendar -It costs 90p to buy 5 tokens. -You *might* be able to complete the main hike for free IF you get lucky with your daily promo objectives. The objectives award a large portion of tokens, however, they are not always free to complete. -You start off with only 2 card slots and 2 lanes. The third card slot unlocks at checkpoint 2 and the last slot unlocks at checkpoint 6. The third lane unlocks at checkpoint 4 and the 4th lane unlocks at checkpoint 8 (it gets added to the right of the board). -The prize with the arrow pointing to the RIGHT allows you to send gifts to your friends. If you land on this prize block then you will be given the option to choose which friend you send the gift to, however, you won’t know what the gift is. --The prizes with the arrow pointing to the LEFT are gifts from your friends. -There is a community objective to move x kilometres to unlock a 2× fragment bonus for Merry Christmas. -If you pass checkpoint 10, you will win Slöngvir. He gives you a 10% cash discount on all vet fees for coverings. It doesn’t matter which lane you are in when you clear the checkpoint. He is the only prize behind checkpoint 10 so all lanes lead to him. -You can see the checkpoint prizes for reaching the next checkpoint at the top of the wooden sign post (to the right of your hike screen) underneath the font that says #checkpoint #x”. The prizes appear in the order shown at the top of that sign from left to right. So if you’re planning to aim for one of those prizes specifically in advance then make sure that you’re in the proper lane beforehand so that you don’t miss the prize. Do note that it is possible to collect all the prizes at the checkpoint if you land exactly on a checkpoint prize block and switch lanes. --The number in the box next to the “checkpoint #x" text indicates how many kilometres you still need to travel to reach the checkpoint. Similarly, the number at the bottom of the sign post indicates the number of kilometres already travelled. -Say for example that there’s a prize that you want 2 blocks in front of you but you only have +3 move cards. In this case, you can use an obstacle to block your path so that you get prize if it is worth it. -*Sometimes* it may be cheaper to switch lanes than it is to get through a line of obstacles (unless you have all the needed obstacle cards in your “hand”). However, switching lanes costs twice as much as using obstacle cards so try not to do it unnecessarily. -It is possible to replay this promo several times after you finish. However, when I say “replay", I mean “replay". Your card slots and the other lanes will be locked again as if you’re redoing everything. Even the tutorial might pop up near the first checkpoint. The plus side to restarting is that the checkpoint prizes are all reset, so you can get them all again. -It is possible to have only +x move cards in your hand and no obstacle cards. This means that there may be situations where you can only use the switch lanes card repeatedly because you don’t have any obstacle cards. Again, try not to use the switch lanes card unnecessarily. It gets expensive quickly. -You can find multiple ×8 fragment prizes along your path. Most of the larger fragment prizes are checkpoint prizes. You can also find many BMI prizes from the prizelist scattered along your hike. -Sliding across a lane (horizontally) with the switch lanes card only collects the prize on the square that you land on, not all prizes that you slid through. The opposite is true for sliding forward/vertically- you will collect every prize that your knight runs through if you move forward into/past the prizes as long as they’re in the same lane as your knight. -The divine portal was not tested. I do not have a lot of data about the portal. However, what I do know is that: --The only given data about the portal is that you can enter and exit it whenever you want and from wherever you are and that you will not lose your progress in the main hike when you do enter the portal. --We don't know what becomes of your progress if you exit a secret route before getting to the Divine --We do not know if you get locked out of the main hike after you enter the portal or what divines are in the portal. All we do know is that it contains divine horses and you can choose which ones to go for.

A note on strategy for the next promo:
Click to display As ShadowKokufu says, it's likely to be a matter of luck if you get all the tokens from objectives. However I think you can give yourself a bit more chance. Here's my plan: Start each day by checking what the objectives are: they are usually one to use a certain number of tokens, and one to use a certain card. The objectives are under the 'target' icon: you might need to change the tab from the daily log-in tokens. Work towards getting them. If you manage it, stop. You can then save any tokens you have for the next day, giving you more chance to reach the objectives again.
