The gifts in the current event... if you exchange your shop currency for an item, such as a hestias gift - if you go back to buy that item again, will it have increased in price? or is the price the same each purchase?

I'm hoping the latter...

As specified in the shop page, the price doubles.

What I hate is that this event forces me to pick between the prizes or the Divine.
Because if I want Lancelot, I'll have to renounce EVERY OTHER prize and accept I'm going home with nothing but fragments.

You hit the nail on the head with that one. I don't think its fair at all.

You know, I spend less and less on this game as time goes on because everything seems to just be a complete money grab and I cant keep up with it. Cant get the gifts and the fragments? buy passes and use them to get everything you want.

Yes, but this is particularly stingy.
Like, we don't even get the "basic prizes" for reaching a level. Ouch default smiley :(
Home with NOTHING. Oof.
Unless you "luck out" with Lancelot at the first TC.

the Reindeer's divine tab info tab. Like other divines, we'll be able to use passes to increase skills (skijoring will consider speed, dressage and gallop, so just work on those) and sleigh rides will also increase those 3 skills. Once your Reindeer is tacked up you can enter into Skijoring comps. You just click "skijoring" and it will automatically enter a race. We don't choose a specific skijoring comp like we do with other comps. The race will run after a bit and you'll see its placing and the amount of equus won, but it's the equus amount that matters for placing in the ranking. This is what a Reindeer's page will look like. You can see the ranking off to the side

There's just a button in the comp section of your reindeer's page. You click it and the deer is auto-entered so there's no chance to choose a comp or check out the opposition. The button had a little pretty image of a red ski/sled type thing on it if I remember correctly.

Otherwise it's just a case of investing passes into the deer's skills to have a better chance of placing high. I think someone posted previously that you an also do rides to gain skills but I don't remember seeing that during testing. Probably because I didn't look much further than wanting to see the comp.

I think it will be slim to no pickings for the average player on the pass prize front though.

That's pretty much how I feel. I hate to look a gift horse in the mouth (this is definitely better than nothing!) but for 99% of players this doesn't change anything.

I had hoped they'd have at least divided the Reindeer by name, so a ranking for Blitzens, one for Donners and so on, but ONE single ranking is basically useless.

INFO SHEET

The divine:

Name: Lancelot
Type/Series: Grail divines
Item: TC lvl 7
Drop: 1× Harmony Pack
Drop rate: ranges from X-33 days, depending on how many other different Grail divines you have
Click to display
Cost:
You can get 540 fragments maximum from the promo for free.

Fragments range: 9-19 frags per item
Average: 14-16 frags per item.

With an empty meter/no frags from the event (or cost of your first divine before you start the event):
--Min. cost: 53 TCs × 200p = 10600p min. (19 frags per item)
--Max. cost: 112 TCs × 200p = 22400p max. (9 frags per item)

^^Average:
--Min. cost = 63 TCs × 200p = 12600p min. (16 frags per item)
--Max. cost = 72 TCs × 200p = 14400p max. (14 frags per item)

With the 540 frags from the event:
--Min. cost: 25 TCs × 200p = 5000p min. (19 frags per item)
--Max. cost: 52 TCs × 200p = 10400p max. (9 frags per item)

^^Average:
--Min. Cost =29 TCs × 200p = 5800p min. (16 frags per item)
--Max. cost = 33 TCs × 200p = 6600p max. (14 frags per item)

With the 3× bonus:
Fragments range: 27-57 frags per item
Average: 42-48 frags per item

With an empty meter/no frags from the event (or cost of your second divine if you have the 3× bonus):
--Min. cost: 18 TCs × 200p = 3600p min. (57 frags per item)
--Max. cost: 38 TCs × 200p = 7600p max. (27 frags per item)

^^Average cost:
--Min. cost: 21 TCs × 200p = 4200p min. (48 frags per item)
--Max. cost: 24 TCs × 200p = 5000p max. (42 frags per item)

With the 540 frags from the event:
--Min. cost: 9 TCs × 200p = 1800p min. (19 frags per item)
--Max. cost: 18 TCs × 200p = 3600p max. (9 frags per item)

^^Average:
--Min. cost = 10 TCs × 200p = 2000p min. (16 frags per item)
--Max. cost = 11 TCs × 200p = 2200p max. (14 frags per item)

Click to display
Notes:
-Average fragments found per item: 14-16 per item. NB: I rarely ever found fewer than 13 fragments per item. However, when I did, I found very few fragments which dropped the average.

-You can get a 3× fragment multiplier from completing the community objective

- requires 3250XP to complete his quest.

-Don't forget to already have your Grail divines on an ongoing quest before you get Lancelot. Buying Lancelot will autocomplete your ongoing quest, even if you started it on the day that you got him.

The event:
Click to display
-You will get 6 items daily from logging in, 9 items from logging in for 5 days in a row and 9 more items daily from doing missions and entering competitions daily. That’s a total of 312 free items for the duration of the promo or 104 of each category assuming that you get equal amounts of items from each category.

-The event was not playable on your phone through your browser/desktop mode on preprod. If you’re using your phone then rather switch to mobile mode because it’s much easier to place the gear on the rider on mobile as opposed to classical mode.

-If you’re using classical mode and you’re having trouble putting gear on your riders then you may need to drag the gear to the centre of the rider in order to place it.

-There’s a community goal to place X pieces of tack to unlock a 3× fragment multiplier for Lancelot.

-You will need your EC workshops to craft items for the event if you want to complete the event. Your workshops are not accessible through the mobile version so you must play the classical version to use them.
--NB: 2* tack, along with store bonuses such as the whip, are ingredients that can be used to craft event items in your workshops. And not all of the store bonuses can be bought from the store.

-You get more or less 4200 coins for free from the promo if you participate by crafting.

-IMPORTANT: the cost of each item in the prize store DOUBLES after each time you buy the item.

-New riders will arrive at your store every x hours depending on what level you have reached. However, if you do not want to wait for the riders then you can choose to advertise for 90p to automatically get 3 new riders/orders at your store.

-Some players got confused between items/tack when they were trying to add the riders. I have attached an image that demonstrates the difference between each tack piece below. This image was created by Strawbz.

-If you want the maximum number of coins per rider then try to give each rider exactly what it wants.

-You may need to use up your whole supply of 2** tack to craft items for the riders.
--It takes 1 day to craft 1-3 of any type of item in your workshops depending on the size of your workshops.
--Employing the artisan drops the time to craft recipes to 14 hours and X minutes.

-Strategy: go for the prizes, not the divine. You probably won’t have the masses of 2** tack and bonuses that are required to get through the entire promo so you may end up spending a good number of passes trying to finish.

Possible total resource requirements to complete the promo:
(Do note that this information may differ from player to player. We are unsure of whether each player will get the same set of riders in this promo let alone if we will get the riders in the same order. So this info may not be true/accurate.)

Hi everyone! I don´t know if anyone asked this before but, what would happen if I don´t use my workshops during the whole event? I won´t be able to complete all the riders? Thankss

The "reindeer games" seem like a waste to me. I would have to spend a fortune raising the skills of even one reindeer high enough to be competitive for any prizes, and those skills would continue to rise so the spending would never truly stop. Making the reindeer more useful sounds great, and the top prize of 300 passes once a month sounds like a great prize, but I'm not so naive that I believe I would ever actually win that likely even once (with so few winners) let alone enough to make it worth while. It reminds me of the objectives where you have to use an expensive black market item to earn a measly 10 or even 20 passes, and in the case of the reindeer, you wouldn't even be guaranteed to win ANY prize. I dont think I'll be using my passes to raise my reindeers' skills. IF I decide to work/compete with them at all, on top of all the others I'm already working, they'll just be equus earners. That is, assuming these new competitions even offer equus as prizes like the normal comps do.

Ya mixed feelings, I feel like no matter how many passes you spend on the skills, someone is always going to "up theres" while comparing it to yours.
I was looking foward to this one too But the pay back might not be worth it.

They could have just made "You get 20 passes as long as you're ranked, and you only get ranked if you entered at least competition every day of the month" and NOBODY would have suffered.
Yes, the best players would have still gotten their reward, but we'd have at least SOMETHING.

Regarding the sale of Zaldia's Tack this weekend, does anyone know what the price is likely to be based on past Tack sales in the Black Market? I've been playing on and off so I don't have many passes, and I'm desperate to get this last tack piece AND get Lancelot because he is my favourite Grail so far, design and perk wise default smiley :)
