Is there any information on the exact times/hours the game will be down on Wednesday the 18th? I got the official PM this morning, but -
"Keep in mind that during the extended maintenance on Wednesday (July 18th), it will be impossible to play the game or use our support system." It doesn't say when it's going off-line, but it would be good to know whether one's usual log-in time will allow sufficient time to do their normal game maintenance. Also, with the 'extended maintenance' phrase, are we to understand they don't know how long the game will be down? |

I'm on CEST and it's going to be down from 4am - 7pm for me. Pretty awful times imo and a super long maintenance.

An official game PM? The one I referenced was sent/received @ 5 something AM this morning and I don't have one previous to that. I guess if it's going into maintenance at rollover time, a regular morning log-in won't happen.

Best Wishes, The Howrse Team] As you see, there is no reference to what hour it would be going down. That's what spurred my original question. The only other reference I could find to the maintenance/down-time was in an official PM on July 11th, which included this: "A couple weeks ago you may remember we contacted you about an impending change to the account sharing feature. We are now writing to let you know that the changes below will indeed made, and they will go online next on July 18th. Along with the extended maintenance on the 18th, there will be an additional small maintenance the day before." I still don't see a time/hour for when the game will be down for me. |

The time sent is probably local time dependent on time zones.
I received identical messages on same date on my other accounts on uk, AU and CAN servers so it went out to all.

The timezone is given weirdly but I am presuming it means 02.00 UTC to 17.00 UTC (though why they couldn't use UTC to start with, I don't know), which in the UK is 3 am to 6 pm. GMT+2 is Daylight Saving Time in France, so I suppose it makes sense to them, but I agree if they'd just given the time in UTC it would be simpler for the rest of us.

As a person in the UK, giving a time related to GMT makes sense to me
 Got an email that the maintenance is delayed anyway...

Click to display it took me 50 passes in the test to get the divine. I’m definitely not spending that much in the real promo!!
