Click to display Some players have pointed out the change to M.Arms isn't legal. Players have brought m.arms under the information it would last forever. Howrse changing it so it disappears seems unfair .. |
about L---
Click to display In viking times horses often wore something called "Torrs Cap" which is exactly the thing that the divine is wearing and fits into the timeline since vikings made those caps for there horses starting 200 BCE (a type of armour). So not necessarily Marvel related. I would love to link a picture but howrse doesn't seem to want me to so i'd say google it if interested

Click to display Some players have pointed out the change to M.Arms isn't legal. Players have brought m.arms under the information it would last forever. Howrse changing it so it disappears seems unfair .. here's my "take" Click to display MAs have worked where they disappeared on an IMMORTAL horse at 30 -- has always been that way -- my understanding is that this change is so that now ALL horses loose them -- even MORTAL ones now ... as I see it, that makes sense because you use MAs to help to cheaply blup horses -- and all a mortal horse can do is die one day ( handy for pass horses yes, but for compers or breeders, doesn't always make sense to me -- all my compers and breeders are immortal ) -- I don't see how this is "illegal" |

In response to lyrical ...
Click to display Yes my mistake about the forever XD The illegal parts I believe is regarding the contract between Owlient and it's players, and that an item already sold can not be modified. Some people have mortal horses that exceed 30 years, and have spent real money/passes on these horses with the intention to use the item beyond 30 years, therefore it's unfair they have already purchased an item which use has changed |
Click to display Some players have pointed out the change to M.Arms isn't legal. Players have brought m.arms under the information it would last forever. Howrse changing it so it disappears seems unfair .. Click to display Owlient has the right to modify the game/contents/items at thier discretion according to the Terms of Use.

Howrse changing it so it disappears seems unfair .. [spoiler]How is Howrse changing how the M. Arm works illegal? It's not, because it's their game and they reserve the right to change ANYTHING they want about the game... from how things work, to taking things away and/or adding things.

Oops... I deleted something and didn't realize it deleted the end spoiler tag too. Sorry.

About L---
Click to display Yes, that is true that horses wore torrs caps as an armour for equines. So the divine Loki is NOT fan art at all, but actually paying respect to the heritage of the horns origin. It also makes sense for Loki to wear torrs caps as in Norse mythology Loki was a shapeshifter and once turned into a mare, yes a MARE, and gave birth to Sleipnir and then gifted the colt to Odin once he was human again. So the helmet suits him appropriately since he could shapeshift into a horse So please don't accuse Howrse of breaking rules until you actually research the proper facts and know information on the topic Marvel would have no reason to sue Howrse because the horns do not belong to them. They are historically accurate and therefore, they break no rules of plagiarism.

Click to display Hi are there any news on the new pass system? |
By Retired breeder, 4th November 2017 09:55:47
Click to display Their game or not as a company they'd still be under legal obligations. I dont have a degree in law but the particular section of law that was in breach was highlighted. Owlient is being contacted about it anyway XD I apologise if this information is incorrect, i guess somebody who knows their stuff will have to look into it? |

Click to display Does anyone know how much the Christmas packs will cost?

Click to display About the xmas tree decorating, Im not sure I like that. Not everyone celebrates xmas. What about Hanukkah? Or Kwanzaa? I think they need to not focus on one religion. If players arent allowed to have a lot of religious icons on their page, why is Howrse allowed to have a religious promo? Just seems like they are singling out one religion. This is in no way against people who celebrate xmas, I just wanted to put this out there.

Possible price and release date
Click to display For the Christmas packs. Generally they have always been released around the 23rd to 24th of December for the first time the exact time depends on where you are, for me it's been one minute past midnight Paris time on the 23rd. Regarding prices in all the years I played it´s been like this. The smallest pack equals the smallest pass pack in price (10 pass pack) the medium-sized pack matches 30 passes pack in price the big one matches the 100 passes pack in price And the pack where you get all 3 Christmas packs is the total price for all three of those pass packs with no savings for buying all of them. Unless something has radically changed this year I imagine that this is probably the prices and the time frame we're looking at again

As for the MA...
Click to display Lyrical is right. Its only making it to where all horses lose it at the age of 30. Which technically doesn't change how the MA works or anything like that. I don't see it illegal and why wouldn't Howrse have the right to change something in their OWN game?
