So, I'm doing tekes, but I want to make fillers in WP so what would a teke be mixed with to make it a good filler? I need WP 7-10%. Any help with a breed is much appreciated.

Admittedly, the new percentage difficulties still throws me for a loop, so I click on the comp name to see the exact skill range for the comp, and then grab a filler whose main skill fits within that skill range. I looked at some comps with about 6% difficulty for an idea, and that's 0-700 skill, so you could breed it to just about anything that's of higher level trot GP to get the trot skills you need (Curly, Paso, Knab, etc.). If the comps you've put your blup in do have a 0 starting part trot requirement then a purebred Teke will work even. It's possible you may have to train it up a bit though.

Just make sure that if you're crossbreeding to get a Teke filler that the stallion is the Teke, if both parents are purebred.

Anyone have any suggestions for breeds that are skilled in dressage/gallop to cover my highland pony?

I was thinking of either a Lusitano or Akhal-Teke and then crossing with a trot/stamina skilled breed.

Can you cross a pony with a regular horse?

Yes. Ive sold horses that had shetland or some other pony breed in their ancestry. You have to breed purebred unicorns together, draft horses together and there's no mules.

Hi, I hope this link works. default smiley xd

I am trying to create a showjumping cross based off of this mare, [url=https://www.howrse.com/elevage/chevaux/cheval?id=60772693[/url] . Any ideas of what to breed her to as far as a pony breed?

Lusis are good in Dressage
Tekes are good in Stamamia if that helps.

Aussie or Shetland would keep the Speed and Dressage high and should increase Jumping.

Tried breeding a pair thats top 3 skills are opposite to see which would dominate in the foal. I breed a Mustang(speed, stamina, gallop) mare to a Nokota(dressage, trot, jumping) Stalllion. The result was a Nokota foal who has dominate gp/skills in dressage, speed, jumping. The Nokostang breeding pair is one I have always been interested in trying out.

hopefully going to try and breed up a realistic horse breed that isn't in game: Kisber Felver.
The Kisber Felver was bred by crossing Thoroughbreds with Furiosos, Trakehners, Arabians, Anglo-Arabians, and Selle Francais so hopefully i can get a tb x trake x arab x selle cross that could represent it!
If anyone wants to track any progress, all horses that can be classified 'Kisber Felver's will be under my affix ᴋɪsʙᴇʀ ғᴇʟᴠᴇʀ.
This may take a while default smiley :p

Fairly new to this version, but not to crossbreeding.
Tried something out and bred a Tennessee walker with a Hanoverian with this boy as the result

Currently blupping him and hoping to breed him with a future frysian and quarter horse mix.
But for now, his overall skills seem pretty good, the only skill that stays behind a bit is gallop default smiley :p
With the talk about pony crosses last week, I thought I'd take some time out from reining crosses, and get myself a top ranked pony. So here he is, top Fjord in Jumping. He's not done mountain rides yet!

PS, interesting cross. I think a Selle dominant version might take on the Selles in Selle only comps due to the speed being higher than jump.

Hey everyone! If anyone is looking to crossbreed with Appaloosas I have some good studs with high GP's I can help you out if you want!
Well hello there!

I've returned to this obsession for like the fourth time. And I am back with my bold conquest of questionable fruitfulness in breeding equal mixes of breeds together(really could use 17 more breeds added to make this smoother, Howrse ;P). It's a ridiculous silly project but it's my ridiculous silly project...that others might have or are attempting to do(if you are, let's team up or become buds, or just hi there!)

Right now I'm looking at(and my fraction math is awful...):
3/32 Arabian(in both my horse and pony/wild/color groups)
1/32 all other horse breeds (included Fjord and Haflinger horses) minus pony/'Color'/'Wild' horses.
1/16 pony/Appaloosa and Paint breeds/'wild' horses

We'll see how this goes. I would love to use foundies, but while I collect those and blup them, I may use horses with no in/linebreeding for 3 generations and exclude any that uses the same sire/dam for several generations. Setting up 2 breeding groups to be able to have(hopefully) a wacky breeding pair of the end result.

Wish me luck! Taking any guesses as I go of what breed(s) will dominate the end result. default smiley ^)

Pretty proud of this guy. Peruvian Paso x Thoroughbred, and he's #1 in TB rankings for trot.

This is one of my first crosses, and I'm pretty proud of it. ((:
