Well, I finally got the Friesian "dominant" equal 4-way cross I wanted for my Baroque Blend.

S 9358.2 Tears
25% PSH, Friesian, Lipizzan, Lusitano

2218 Dressage
1686 Gallop
1517 Stamina
1379 Speed
1338 Trot
1220 Jump

As much as I love Baroque horses, I can't say this project was much fun... Very frustrating to get it exactly how I wanted. Here's a learning tidbit for everyone else though:

In an equal 4-way x 4-way cross, where breeds involved and their percentages are the same, the foal will take sire's 2nd listed breed.

The sire, Disaster's Jamboree, is Lipizzan. His Genetic breed listing order is Lipizzan, ((Friesian)), Lusitano, PSH.

@Legs, just re-read our messages. Is it the dam's last listed breed that would determine the breed, or the sire's 2nd listed? Im so confused. 4-way rage quit. default smiley :@default smiley (l)

*hands cookie* These can be a pain in the beginning.
Your foal took the sire's second listed breed because the breeds between the parents were different. The two breeds in the sire's genetics were different than the two in the dam's. You did get the correct breed.

Now, if bother of the parents were Lipizzan x Friesian crosses your foal should have taken the dam's last listed. For an example of this instance (I'm going to use breeding two 4 ways because it might be easier to see, though it works the same way) is Brianna. Both parents are 25/25/25/25 GV x Paso x Lus x Appy crosses though the breeds are listed in different orders. Brianna took her dam's last listed breed which is Appaloosa. I have several foals with these genetics but different breed orders and so I did lots of tests to make sure it was the dam's last listed breed it was taking and not one of the sire's.

Okay, I tend to stick with classic riding. I want to cross my horse Champion, a Arab Teke mix. His genetic potential is 5991.55. Seems great at Galloping, cross-country and show jumping. what would be a good mix for him ? I'm not finished training him but I want to get a better foal

1. "waste" is a matter of opinion

2. those are "original foundations"

3. it is not possible to get original foundations anymore...other than via sales...like, they're not being released onto the game anymore

original foundations ? what's that ?

Foundation horses are the starter horses. The original foundies have 350-351.2 gp
(Foal games used to give up to 1.2 gp instead of the current 60 skill points)

New/current foundies have higher gp. The gp gets higher and higher so these new ones are known as rolling gp foundies

I plan to make a super powerful clone of the mythical Pokémon Mew called Mewtwo and it will be the most powerful Pokémon in the world! Naw, just kiddin’. But I am doing something. Back in the day (it was only like a year ago), I crossbred a horse to get Nessie, the #1 Highland Pony on the game, and she held that place for months. But unfortunately, more skilled horses took her place. I plan to crossbreed to make another, yet more skilled Highland to reclaim the #1 Highland Pony spot. If anyone wants to donate to this project, please PM me!
Hello, does anyone have a full list of all the crossbreeding friendly teams?

Khaotic Rain used to have one, but it might be out of date by now. Can try shooting her a msg and see what she knows about it.

Many teams say on their team page whether or not they are cross friendly or even provide covers. If not, you can politely PM one or two of their admins or officers. Most are friendly and responsive.

Here are teams I've had covers from most recently:

PSH's from ᴀ ᴄ ᴄ ɪ ᴘ ɪ ᴏ

Paints from » ℱɾєєdσm เn Cσℓσuɾ «

Welshes from ʜᴏɢᴡᴀʀᴛs

Fjords from ℛɩѵɩєɾα

I’ve had some really awesome success with Appy x TB crosses - most of them have been Appy dom, but obviously you can just switch it to TB just as well.

Don't quite understand how "Cross Breeding" stands for "Pricing a Horse", but whatever.

Anyhow, I managed to get this girl to over 220 wins in Cross Country even though her GP is about 3000 below the current top.

DomeArisesAtMidnight

This guy, My Darkest Hours, is almost at 200 wins in WP. Love my Fri crosses.

I also managed to fully BLUP a purebred Mustang at around 10k GP, I believe. So if anyone wants foals out of her, I can help.
