HellOw!

If you like to cross-breed, this is the place for you!

On this topic, you can discuss your crossbreeding programs, share your secrets, and advise other players about it.

Compare different crosses with the ones from other players, and brag about your achievements in crossbreeding.

It's not allowed to advertise horse sales!

The forum rules and the game rules also apply.

Have fun sharing!

@ CrystalSphinx: If you fully blup them, and give them Aphrodite's Tears and then breed them to fully blupped, high GP stallions and repeat that for a couple generations, it might work. I know it did on my CA server account, with three generations.

If you want, I can breed you a foal from one of my mares. . . Advantage: Texas would probably be a good choice for that default smiley (lol)

Hmm. . . I'll have to go take a peek at that mare. . . Be back!

I breed Applebreds, my Appaloosa-Thoroughbred gallop monsters. The best I have is a horse named Gala with a natural 1798 in gallop, but I did just start with breeding them.

Do hybrids tend to have a high genetic potential or is it only purebreds ?

You're right, they would be against much higher GPs. Depending on what level of comp you are trying to win and what you cross them with, foals from your starters could be fine. I'd still recommend buying a 9000+ GP filly as your base horse, since it's (often) much easier to get wins that way.

Being a crossbred does not hinder, or boost, GP gain as it's all based on math. So it's very possible to breed a cross that has a higher GP than its purebred counterpart depending on the GP of the parents you are using.

You can figure out the GP of a foal (be it a purebred or cross) by taking the average of the parent's GP. That just gives a rough estimate because there is a random factor in there, and the gain is also based on how far away you are from the top GP on the game. The lower the GP of the parents, the bigger the gain.

Thanks Legacy Ann, I was looking up Champion Sire side it's an infinity of very high genetic potential and they are all pure tekes. Also just found out my champion's first official foal, a black colt lustiano.
I wish they game was more realistic but I can't wait to see how it turns out
Sorry for the long post but... Some updates! I'm looking to become more active in this forum again after not crossbreeding for a while. I miss it!

Anyways, here are some horses I have bred/have been working with recently! Again, I really have been obsessed with Don crosses and Fjord crosses lately.

Don x Selle
ᴍɪʟᴀʜ

Don x GV
ᴍᴀvʀocᴋ, oʟɪʀᴀ

Fjord x Selle
ʟᴇɴɪʟᴀ, ɴɪcʟᴀs

Haven't posted on here in a while, figured I would share some of my newest crosses I've done the past couple days default smiley :d

I bred TB/QH/Marwari twins a while back, and decided to do an updated version. Enchantress has the lower GP, while Zulft and Zenia are the two newest. Pretty happy with them so far! Really thinking of making another affix specifically for this type of cross and breeding them more. default smiley (l)

Enchantress
Zulft
Zenia

And I've also bred a pretty good TB/QH colt. Which do you guys think he would excel in, Western or English comps?
TB/QH Colt

I also wanted to show off my KWPN cross I got from hOrsElUvEr95 when she was a foal. I adore her <3

I have a purebred GV mare that I no longer need anymore if anyone wants a foal from her. Shes got 10151 GP. PM me if you want a foal.

I'm starting my next project finally. My computer crashed a few weeks ago so I've been waiting to get a new one. Finally did and I am ready for my next skiller default smiley (lol) Going to take a bit of a turn away from the Fjords but not too much. Should be a fun one though. default smiley 8-)

can u send a link of her Gatlin ?
By Retired breeder, 23rd November 2017 23:23:03
okay I don't get it, I put up a impressive lustino mare for auction, she has 9385.30 potential and it very well trained but i'm lost why no one bid on her. Am I doing something wrong ?

Mmmm. . . English. I've got a TB/QH filly of my own. Don't think I've put her in any comps yet, though! default smiley xd
