Looking to breed this lovely gal of mine to a good cross stud. Any ideas?
http://www.howrse.com/elevage/fiche/?id=51234642

We aren't fully beached yet, but, we'll be #2 for Marwari's in jumping come update.
I'd like to boost that, but since she's a 50/50 Selle Français I'd say we might be stuck with what we've got.
Kinda looking for another Marwari stud, but, I'm up for suggestions. default smiley ^)

I noticed someone a while back commented

'I bred a foal for a specific purpose, but the breeds were in the wrong breed order'.

what does this mean? the breed order, why does this affect the foal if the genetics foal in general are good?

(I'm not patronising, I'm genuinely curious as want to start cross breeding and have never heard of this before). thanks

What about adding kwpn/something. I would say aussie or shettie but their gp is pretty low

I bred this gal the other day. I'm quite pleased with her. I might see if I can acquire a Tears and breed another Chinco baby. She'd be on the boards for Stamina I believe. And another skill, I just don't remember which one.

Usually when people say that they are breeding two 50/50 crosses that are the same breeds together. The foal would take the dam's second breed listed. So for example if the dam is Arab (dom)xFry bred to a Fry (Dom)xArab sire, the foal would be Fry. The breed order only usually matters for breeding this way. But it can also matter for breed two different 50/50 crosses as the breed order can switch on those too. For example if the dam is Arab (dom)/Fry and the sire is Connemara (dom)/Selle, the foal would be Selle as it takes the breed listed second on the sire's side. Does that makes sense?

I recently won a Hera's pack from the lottery, and I'm wanting to breed a good cross foal with high skills and GP default smiley (7) I'm wanting to breed my purebred Arabian, but not sure what stud to breed her too.

I've already bred her to an Appaloosa, along with TB's, QH's, GV's, Mustang and Paints. Anyone have some good suggestions? I cant decide what would be best to use the Hera on default smiley :'(

This is my mare, The Actress.

Can anyone give some good opinions please?

I'd go for a Selle, personally. Good GP out there and would improve skills.

Just managed to finish bolding Midas Reality who is Appaloosa/TB/Selle, managed to keep the Speed/Dressage high whilst slightly lowering the gallop meaning she runs well in mid to high level gallop comps.

*cough, cough* defence would be two words, with de not being a word, and fence well, that's easy lol and wether isn't a word at all default smiley :p It's whether. The writer in me ya know...anyways..

I think I'm almost done with my QH mare, running out of breeds to breed her to. I think all that's left are a few breeds that seem to not be popular so have really low GP, such as Don, Hunter and Morgan.

Here's her latestdefault smiley :) Losted

And late this week, I've got a kwpn/morgan coming.

Now if only I could retire about 50 or 60 crosses, but I don't see it happening anytime soon, since nobody's asking for foals or covers from em.

o.0 I thought it was defense

Oi. I dreamed that I was sleeping, how depressing is that?

I have like, nothing to do on howrse but put out Uni covers, I finished everything this morning. I feel accomplished. Plus, I sold an rc that's been for sale for most likely, 2 years?

Not blupping til 10, it's an odd feeling being all caught up...I might actually do some reading, or learn how to make a spreedsheet for my secret cross project...OoOo good idea...if I knew how...

I need to get an idea on how I want to move forward, like who to breed to who to start the project, that's going to be the hard part.

New filly!! She's again part of a twin set!! Unfortunately she'll probably have to become a boy because her breed configuration would make every foal that she produces a Selle

Hi! So recently, my Knab mare that had about 1% Appy and 1% Fjord had a foal which is listed here

Why did she lose the Fjord?

Only the 5 breeds with the highest percentages will show. Since the mare had 1% Fjord, then it was dropped in her foal because the foal didn't have enough Fjord to beat out the other breeds.

I doubt it, unless you add a lot of bonuses and BMIs

Just completed an Iberian Warmblood stallion ! He's 50/50 TB and PSH with a 7996.52 GP. Really proud of this guy, he did well in comps. Let me know if you'd like coverings, price varies by mare. default smiley ^)

If properly skilled up, with bonus items, good EC, etc, then yes it would have a good shot at XC rosettes.
I have been having SO much fun with this one... Nikinsky ...now to decide whether to get pegasus account and cloud her or not! Decisions decisions...
